We live out in the country by a river and this cat was dumped. He came to us starving and was living in the woods. We all ready had three cats, so we made the decision to keep him. Named him Mr. Roger, took him to the vet. Roger has been neutered and had required shots. Veterinarian determined he is around 3-4 years of age. Roger is litter trained and loves to be in doors, very gentle and affectionate, loves to talk. Would make a great companion to a caring home. We need to rehome due to not getting along with our other cat.

Grayson is a handsome blue-gray cat with a quiet presence and a gentle soul. New to ECHS, he is still adjusting to the sudden changes in his life and is understandably feeling a bit overwhelmed.Right now, Grayson is keeping mostly to himself. The shelter is a very different environment from the home he knew, and he is taking his time trying to make sense of it all. While he may seem reserved at first, we know there is more to Grayson than what we're seeing today.In his previous home, Grayson was described as affectionate, laid-back, and independent. He enjoyed spending time with his people but was never demanding of attention. He was content simply being part of the family and living life at his own pace.We believe that with patience, understanding, and a little time to settle in, Grayson will begin to show that side of himself again.Grayson is also FIV positive. Cats with FIV can live long, happy, healthy lives and can often safely live with non-FIV cats as long as everyone gets along and there is no serious fighting. We encourage you to do some research to make sure you are on board with FIV and all that comes with it. If you're willing to give a cat the time he needs to feel safe and loved again, Grayson may be the perfect companion.
