Story
Tank was found in a parking lot when he was a kitten. He is about 4 or 5 years old. Tank is slow to warm; it takes him a long time to feel safe at home. He hides a lot and is overall a good cat. We are looking for a new home for him because he needs to be fixed. Tank has a spraying problem. He is litter trained, but he sometimes misses the box and doesn't know how to cover it up. Tank is a cool, laid-back cat. He only comes out for food and attention, and he normally hides. Tank likes to be alone. He is currently living with a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old that he hides from. Tank grew up with dogs and a cat. He sometimes bullies my other cat. Most of the time they play or fight at night. Tank only wants to come to you. You can't come to him until he thinks you're cool. If you open a can, he will come running. It would be great if you could take him and his brother Ofy from another mother. If not, that's ok too.

Story
Ofy is a good cat; he is a lover. Loves attention and being under his owner. He is overweight and begs for food a lot. He is litter-trained. He is good with kids. He is good with dogs. He loves going outside. He plays or fights at night with his brother from another mother, Tank. It would be great if you adopt Tank too, so they can stay together. Ofy is 6 or 7. He is getting rehomed because his brother has a spraying problem and financial reasons, and now they both have to go.

Story
In foster care. Fill out an application if interested in meeting him https://mynewcat.org/adopt-a-cat/adoption-application/ Milkshake is a four month old male kitten. He was found at the Lafayette steak ‘n Shake living in their parking lot. Despite his rough circumstances, he was making the best of his situation living amongst the trees and playing with bugs. Milkshake is very sweet with other cats and he is very sweet with people as well. Due to living outside for a while he is a little timid and skittish, but he warms up quickly and loves to play with toys and be petted and purr his little head off. He would be great with other cats and dogs are unknown, but he could probably adjust to a cat friendly dog. Must have a cat friend or be adopted with another kitten.

Story
Cleopatra's Story This kitty is in foster care! Fill out the adoption application if interested in meeting her https://mynewcat.org/adopt-a-cat/adoption-application/ Longer version: Meet Cleo — a big, beautiful tabby girl with an even bigger heart. 💛 Cleo is the kind of cat who just wants a cozy place to call home and someone to share her lap-cuddles with. She absolutely loves curling up beside you, lounging in sunny windowsills, and keeping watch over the birds, squirrels, neighborhood cats, and people outside. She’s a curious girl who enjoys the sights and sounds of the outdoors from the safety of her favorite perch. Cleo would thrive best in a quieter home where she can be the center of attention. She prefers not to share her space with other cats, though she has tolerated respectful dogs while in foster care. Catnip toys are one of her favorite things, and she’s always happy to enjoy a relaxing afternoon with her people. Over the past year, Cleo has experienced a lot of change and would truly love the stability and comfort of a forever family. She does have a recent history of pancreatitis, so she currently eats Hill’s Science Diet Sensitive Skin & Stomach kibble (non-prescription) and has done well with it. She also occasionally gets hairballs, which have been easily managed with an inexpensive supplement called Laxatone. Cleo is available for adoption through My New Cat Rescue and is currently being fostered in Lafayette, Indiana. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who will happily keep you company while birdwatching from the window, Cleo may be your perfect match. 🐾
