Tabby kittens & cats in Peoria, Illinois

This is an "adventure cat." She is NOT SUITABLE as an indoor-only cat. She's active and she wants to be an outdoor cat, but she will meow at the door when she's ready for food, indoor luxuries, and human companionship. She is literally the most cuddly, sweet girl in the world. I'm talking SWEETHEART!! Beautiful, small-framed, a "lap cat," but she will require a home that can provide an outdoor life for her. A farm with children possibly that can provide that attention she craves while allowing her to be the free spirit she is. She's neutured and her rabies is up to date but the others are not.

Harry found me at about 8 weeks old. He has been fixed and had initial shots. He has been an indoor cat since I found him. He is very loving. He loves attention, but is also very playful and active. He is almost 2 years old. He loves to follow me everywhere. He does understand simple commands, he knows “no”, as he would love to be in my lap full time, but when I tell him “no”, he will stop and plop down near me instead. He is very good with small children, he pats and swipes, but NEVER goes beyond playful antics. He’s a big boy, about 13lbs, but not an overeater. I do two feedings a day, but I could fill a large bowl and he wouldn’t over eat.

Eugene has a an extra thumb and he’s a sweet cat he’s only 9 months old. We’ve had him since he was a kitten. He has a brother that must go with him we got them together and do not want to separate them. They are great animals and love kids and people. They are both microchipped. Legolas was told he had a heart murmur but it was nothing bad just something that was being monitored by their vet. They eat only dry food. They will come with all documentation and certificates for rabies vaccination. They will come with litter and a litter box that they gladly share it’s an enclosed one.

Maize is a gentle, snuggly sweetheart who just wants to be close to people. Her chill level is uncanny and she has been known to purr during baths just because she just loves the attention. She’s very food-motivated and will sprint to you the second she hears a can pop open. However, her best trait is perhaps that she is very conversational. Tell her about your day, and she'll happily talk back with you (in cat language) the whole time. She's a very good listener. She doesn't require much in the way of cat entertainment, but will absolutely go wild if she sees a reflection or laser on the wall. Oftentimes your phone will create a glare and you'll just notice her fixate on a random spot on the wall. For human entertainment, she loves to sit on your lap or the back of a couch and watch Friends. If your home has other cats or kids, it makes no difference to her as long as she has a friend to cuddle with!

Daria came in with 1 brother and 2 sisters. She and her sisters (Spot & Jane) are still looking for their forever homes. Daria is very outgoing and playful and can often be seen carrying one of her toys around the house, trying to play keep away from her sisters. But she is also a snuggler. This sweet girl needs another cat in her forever home (how about one of her sisters?). She has been spayed, is current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, had flea prevention, and the litter was sample tested for FIV/FeLv negative. Jane is playful and energetic. She loves all toys, especially sparkle balls and mice. While she can be shy at first, she will sit on your lap when she is ready. She would do best in a quieter home so she can settle in and feel comfortable. She has been spayed, is current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, flea treatment, and FIV/FeLv negative. She would do best being adopted with one of her sisters (Spot or Daria). If you adopt a pair, the adoption fee is $150 for both vs $100 each. Lily is a special case and needs a lot or work and patience. Lily's previous home went through a terrible storm where a tree fell through the roof. Between that and having a construction crew there she became very scared, mix that with her tortitude and you can imagine how she was. Went she first came to her foster home she screamed, growled, and hissed all the time. Now Lily has calmed down quite a lot, but still has so much attitude. Lily needs a home with no other pets and absolutely no children. She gets along with the humans in her foster home, but is scared of the other cats and does lash out at them. She doesn't like storms, obviously, and is scared of loud sounds. It will take her weeks or more to get used to a new home. She has had stress induced urinary issues in the past, but none in her current foster home. She does need gabapentin to travel. Last time she went in to get shots she was fairly friendly to people who would come pet her. We know this sounds like a lot, and it is. But this girl deserves a home all to herself where she is the main focus and can have the time she needs to heal.
