Story

We found Sam as a stray! He came up on our back porch and we took him in! We had never owned a cat and fell in love with him! The first thing we did was take him to the veterinary for a checkup! That’s when we learned he had FIV and herpes in one eye! We knew nothing about the illness and the vet said if we planned to keep him outside it wouldn’t be responsible of us because other cats could be infected! He said to keep him inside and he could live a long time! So, Sam became an inside cat! That was 10 years ago! We estimate his age at 13 or 14 years old! We had his front feet declawed and other than putting a drop or two of medicine in his eye now and then he’s been no trouble at all! He pretty much keeps to himself! He’s not the kind of cats that likes to be held! He does love being brushed and he loves playing with his little toys! We are now retired and and we don’t want to burden our friends and family with caring for him when we travel!

Sage came from a neighbor that abandoned him almost 8 months ago. He adjusted fairly easily. He likes to play with furry toys and chase strings. He is about 1 year and a half approximately. He is very energetic, and curious. A home that is cat free might be best until he is fixed as he is very active with my fixed female cat. My husband refused to fix him, so I was not able to.

Ali was a bottle fed kitten. She was approximately 6 hours old her mom abandoned her.(the mother had abandoned other liters. She is feral,we can’t catch. Ali does have a cousin that we got approximately 3 days old. They have grown up together. Just the sweetest things ever. I would like to keep them together. They are 7 months old. They get along great with other cats and dog. They are inside cats.

Story

Tank is such a special cat and his next home will be so lucky to have him. Tank is currently 9 years old and was adopted from a shelter and kept on a farm. The original adopters had asked me to take him, as their environment was becoming dangerous for Tank. Tank has been THE BEST indoor cat,and quickly befriended our 4-year-old border collie. Recently our living situation has changed and we simply do not have the time to dedicate to Tank what he deserves. He is a goofy cat, and deserves a stable home environment with lots of snuggles and attention. He quickly partnered up with our dog and I believe he could learn to love another dog who likes cats. He is a declawed, spayed, and loves people. While he is a little chubby at 17lbs, this makes for the perfect cuddler. You may catch him hanging around belly up once he gets comfortable.
