Story
This young male cat showed up to my place of business on a very cold and dreary day. His eyes were matted shut and his breathing loud and raspy. He was taken to a veterinarian who diagnosed him with dual eye infections, a respiratory infection and suspected trauma to his hindquarters due to his walking gait being odd. The veterinarian said he was also low weight (5#) and suspected he was 6-12 months old. He is not fixed at present. We treated him with antibiotics and isolated him from our domestic cat as instructed. His appetite rallied, his infections cleared, and he is feeling much better. He does have impaired use of one of his back legs - it doesn't seem to slow him down much, though, nor does it ruin his spirit. He is extremely affectionate, even playful with toys and scratching posts -- he is a wonderful soul that needs a good home, love and attention.

Story
Letty & Mia joined my family as kittens from a local shelter in 2020 and have had a life full of love, snuggles and playfulness in a 100% indoor environment. Sadly, due to family and housing changes, I no longer have a good space for them to thrive. I love them very much and hope to find a happy home for them to continue their life together.

Story
TEMPEST Tempest or Tempy is approximately 7 years old and 18lbs. She is a very low key cat - she enjoys a mid afternoon princess nap, snuggles, and a good belly rub (she has the softest belly). She has her playful moments, but mostly prefers to sit back and observe. If she is not up high she loves to sit in boxes. She has to inspect any box that comes into her kingdom, then lays claim to the box after it is safe for her people. Tempest has been an indoor cat for 6 years. She is cat friendly, but should live in a home without dogs (if possible) since she was recently attacked by a dog and will be defensive. There are some health concerns at the moment. As a result of the attack she had a tooth and a small part of bone in her jaw removed. She is still on soft foods until her mouth heals a bit more. She is also on prozac but can be weaned off of the prozac once she gets settled in. Outside of the injuries she is quite healthy. P.S. Willing to travel to bring her to you.

Story
Omni is a very active panther girl who showed up on my moms front porch looking for food. We fed, watered and gave her shelter. She ruled the front porch. We got her fixed, and got her shots. She was friendly but wary of being picked up. Mom decided to let her inside. She took to the litter box easily. We have worked at getting her socialized. She will follow us around the house. And will roll on her back when feeling affectionate. She has beautiful gold/orange eyes. She will need a little more work on her social skills. We are rehoming her because mom passed away and none of us have room to take her in. We are looking someone wanting an in-door only cat. An experienced pet owner is preferred, but not set in stone. With a little patience, she will be a very loving companion. She slept with mom at night during her last days with us.
