Kit Kat is a very loving people oriented cat. Just out of her kitten years, she has a very sweet disposition, loves to cuddle in your lap, and will play fetch (yes, actual fetch) all day long. She is house broken, accustomed to apartment living, and grew up around other affectionate cats. We are sad to rehome, but we have a new baby and would like to avoid additional animal dander, as well as stress on our elder cat (who struggles to keep up with her energy). She knows no enemy, is very eager to attach to people, and is always excited to explore. She will love you immediately! We are animal people and care far more about her health, safety, and comfort than money, so we will not charge for her adoption.

I adopted Rosie in 2017 from a shelter in Texas. She moved across country with me. She is approximately 10 years old. She is a loving cat with adults. She is an indoor/outdoor cat. Litter box trained and calm.

Sweet boy! I have never heard him hiss and he has never scratched any of us. He was a stray and we just aren’t able to give him the home he deserves right now. We did have him fixed though, and he is up-to-date on all shots. He has been outdoor but sleeps in our garage at night. He is great with kids!He has a sister and it could be great if someone wanted both - so they can stay together. But we understand it may not be possible for someone to want both.

She came in as a stray and is a bit shy until she feels safe. But once she relaxes, she becomes a cuddle bug and shows aptitude for being a champion lap kitty. Her color is an unusual blended tabby that looks like leopard spots along her sides, plus a little tortoiseshell along her back. Now that the kittens are weaned and ready to be on their own it's time for Little Mama Violet to find her place. She is small in size and just as sweet as can be. Good with most of the other cats with a little warm up time. Great with kids and doesn't seem to mind small, calm dogs as much. There are no complaints or issues when it comes to this adorable gal. She has been great from the start. Violet deserves a home where she can snuggle up inside and enjoy her life now that her motherly duties are done. It's time for her to be a cat and not have to worry about her next meal or the dangers of the outside world. Shelter life was all they had known for the first year of their lives, but they were very well-loved while they were here. Cyrus in particular is such a cuddlebug; he often follows us around the cat house looking for all the attention he can get. We were thrilled when they were adopted and could finally have a home of their own. Unfortunately, they were returned to us, due to no fault of their own. These boys are a bonded pair meaning they have been through a lot together since birth, so they need to be adopted together. GAHS has decided to waive their adoption fees, but we will be strict on what home they go to. No dogs, and only kids 5 and older.
