Story
** If you are interested in learning more about or adopting one of our pets, please submit an adoption application here: www.gatewayareahumanesociety.com/application-to-adopt ** Bunnie is a sweet girl with a super-expressive face and a cute little bob tail that make her bum look like that of a bunny rabbit. She came in as a stray and is a bit shy until she feels safe. But once she relaxes, she becomes a cuddle bug and shows aptitude for being a champion lap kitty. Her color is an unusual blended tabby that looks like leopard spots along her sides, plus a little tortoiseshell along her back. Adoption Fee: $100 The adoption fee includes your pet's: - Spay/Neuter - Annual Vaccines - Rabies - Microchipping NOTE: A completed application is required for all adoptions and prior to any visitations. Completing this application does not guarantee approval, nor does it obligate you to adopt if approved. All visits and adoptions are by appointment only. We do our best to ensure that the adoptable animals are in the best health possible, but you will need to take your pet to your regular vet to ensure complete health. Keep in mind that any pet is a lifelong commitment. When considering adoption, remember what life is like with work, school, hobbies, or kid's activities.

Story
** If you are interested in learning more about or adopting one of our pets, please submit an adoption application here: www.gatewayareahumanesociety.com/application-to-adopt ** Violet came in as a stray with a litter of four kittens even though she’s still a kitten herself. Now that the kittens are weaned and ready to be on their own it's time for Little Mama Violet to find her place. She is small in size and just as sweet as can be. Good with most of the other cats with a little warm up time. Great with kids and doesn't seem to mind small, calm dogs as much. There are no complaints or issues when it comes to this adorable gal. She has been great from the start. Violet deserves a home where she can snuggle up inside and enjoy her life now that her motherly duties are done. It's time for her to be a cat and not have to worry about her next meal or the dangers of the outside world. Adoption Fee: $100 The adoption fee includes your pet's: - Spay/Neuter - Annual Vaccines - Rabies - Microchipping NOTE: A completed application is required for all adoptions and prior to any visitations. Story
Ivy is a gentle, nurturing soul with a heart as big as her beautiful green eyes. This sweet mama not only raised her own litter of kittens, but also took in five extra babies who needed a mom—and she cared for every single one with quiet devotion. Her journey hasn’t been easy. Ivy was surrendered by her previous owner because a family member developed severe COPD and required oxygen at home. It was a heartbreaking decision, but one made out of love and necessity. Now that all her kittens have grown and found homes, Ivy is ready for her turn—a calm, cozy home where she can finally rest, relax, and be the one getting all the love and care. She’s a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, Ivy blossoms into a sweet and affectionate companion. She’ll thrive in a peaceful environment where she can settle in at her own pace and let her gentle personality shine. If you’re looking for a quiet, loyal friend who’s given so much love and is now ready to receive it in return, Ivy might just be your perfect match.
