Story
Meet Josie! This sweet gal is a 1-year-old DSH beauty. Josie observes before making a move and is a quieter girl. She is so sweet and loving once she is used to you- she is definitely worth the short wait! She loves pets and attention, climbing up higher for window views, and she loves treats! She gets along with other cats, dogs unknown. She would do better in a home with older children. Josie is scheduled for her spay in February and can be adopted and visited until then!

Story
Meet Koal! Koal is a 4-year-old DSH male black cat that has been at our shelter since 3/16/22. He was a feral cat who is becoming domestic. He is quiet, loves his wet food in the morning- he is waiting for you! He gets along with other cats and doesn't get worried when another cat jumps into his kennel with him (sometimes walks right across him!). He is curious and loves to explore on his own terms. He needs a patient adopter with more of a quiet home. A home with a rowdy or loud dog/kids would not work for him. With enough patience and time, he will become a lap cat! Koal is now playing with other cats and even toys! What a huge turn around for him! He loves to be pet and will even drool. He doesn't like to be picked up yet. Once he is comfortable with you, he will come up to you for pets and even "hit" you for more! He would do best in a home with no little kids and not a lot of noise. He needs a solid home that he can stay at -no apartments unless it is a long term deal. He will be shy at first and you will need to be patient while he adjusts. But he will warm up and he will warm YOUR heart! In order for Koal to go to a new home, the potential adopter must visit with him until he is comfortable with that person. He has not been out of the shelter in 3 years and does not know what a home is or what the outside is like. He cannot just go from the shelter to a home as he will revert back into hiding. Visits could take days to months- depends on him. He is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. .

Story
Meet our feral cat, Ben! Ben, a 3-year old male cat, is a remarkable adult cat with a spirit of adventure. Known for his curiosity and intelligence, Ben is the perfect companion for those who appreciate an independent and brave feline. While he prefers a home without young children and is not fond of being touched, he excels as an indoor mouser, making him an invaluable roommate. Ben's self-sufficient nature and keen instincts make him ideal for a quiet, adult-only household. Consider giving Ben a chance to enrich your life with his unique personality. Ben gets along with other cats that do not go after him or dominate him. He does not like human touch or wants to be pet. He is fine being around you but that is the extent. He has not been around dogs so a home without one is best. Small kids are not recommended as we do not know how he would react to them. He would make a great indoor (only as he lost all of his winter fur) mouser. He cannot live outside or be a outdoor cat right away as he may not come back. Looking for a roommate indoor mouser? He is your guy! Ben is neutered, microchipped and UTD on vaccinations.
