Story
Hi! My name is Goosebumps (salem) and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 2yrs old and I've been at the shelter since 2/3.I am a very sweet lad who can be a touch shy with new people. It wont take me long to open up with a few pets and maybe a treat or 2. I am a more independent fella who will come to you for love. For the most part I am a chill dude just looking for a chill home!My ideal home would be very loving and patient while I adjust to new environments. In my previous home I lived with dogs, cats and kids and I was not a huge fan. They think I would prefer to be the only animal with no kiddos! If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Our adoption process is first come first serve.GOOSEBUMPS (SALEM)'S ADOPTION FEE: $150 plus tax. Story
Hi! My name is Rayoko and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I've been at the shelter since 2/11/26I'm an independent gal who enjoys the company of patient and quiet humans. When I'm comfortable with you, I enjoy snuggles and gentle pets! I also love to play, and can get a little feisty when I don't get my zooms out! My ideal home would be quiet and calm, and be able to give me the time I need to decompress and get comfortable in my new surroundings. I would do best in a home with no younger kids since I can occasionally get overstimulated. I used to live with other cats and was not a fan, so I'd like to be your one and only feline! I have met dogs before and did well, so I wouldn't be opposed to a chill dog friend! If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Story
**AVAILABLE FROM FOSTER**Hello world! My name is Skelly. I'm 13 years old and I am looking for a patient and loving home with no other animals to live out my golden years. Back in October, I was found as a stray out in Saginaw. A kind person brought me to Animal Allies and my journey began. It was immediately obvious that I had been out on my own for quite some time; I was clearly older, very scared, and underweight. After some tests, we found out that I also have hyperthyroidism and will need lifelong medication. It was clear that I wanted attention and love, but I would still get scared and overstimulated when people tried to pet me - occasionally leading to a lash out (swatting and nipping). On the other hand, I would also get sad when people would try to leave my room, and I would go after their legs to stop them and get them to stay with me. This behavior can be off-putting to some, so staff sent me to a foster home to see how I would do in a home environment instead of the shelter. While in foster I've really come out of my shell and have been having such a fun time. Even though I'm 13 years old, I still LOVE to play! My foster introduced me to feathered wand toys and I go crazy for them - I run and leap as if I'm still a kitten! I also love looking out windows, getting yummy treats, and more than anything being around my person/people. I'm a total lap cat and want to always be around you, even if just passively. I'm still very much a princess however and will get frustrated with you if I'm not getting enough attention. At first, I would let my foster know my frustration by giving nips, but she's been teaching me that there are better ways to ask for love. I'm most comfortable only being pet on my head and ears, but I love to rub up on people and pet them! When I get worked up and bitey, my foster just calmly says "nooo" and I'll stop and go back to rubbing on her. I'm definitely looking for a home with humans who understand cat body language and have the patience to work with me. Once I trust you, I really am the sweetest little lady! I have the best purr, enjoy snuggles, and am so much fun to be with! I hope there is someone out there with a heart full of love and patience that is willing to give me the adoring home I've been longing for!
