Hazel has been with me since she was born. She is a very affectionate cat who likes to cuddle and snuggle. I am hoping that she finds a home with affectionate people who can give her the love she deserves.

Story
We adopted Shippo in 2024 with his brother at Petco in Watertown, NY. He is a laid back cat who enjoys cuddles more than playing. As he grows older he seems to enjoy humans more than other cats. Which brings us to our current problem. We don't know why, but he no longer gets along with the other two cats we have. Our assumptions is jealousy because he does not like the others getting attention. He only gets aggressive with the other two. Otherwise he is chill. He even knows when its bedtime, running into our bedroom when it is time to sleep. He is a sweet, loving, spoiled little baby and knows it. He does prefer females, since he sits with me mostly. My husband and I have made the difficult decision to rehome him with a family that will be stress free for him. I love him more than anything, but having him fighting with the other two is not fair to any of them. We want him in a home where no other animals will be present so he can get the attention he deserves.

Story
Sage is an overall beautiful cat. Her personality is beautiful, her meow, her coat, she’s just a sweetheart. We got Sage from a coworker who happens to foster strays around her area. Sage was born within a litter from those cats. She is one years old and will be two next March. We were only planning on looking for a girl cat because we wanted to see the differences of personality because we had already had experience with boys. She loves wet food, but will tolerate hard. She loves doing her own thing, but she also loves to cuddle and talk to you. Sage is not spayed. Life has been throwing hard curves, and a lot of of them have been financial obstacles. Which has kept her in a position of not being spayed and without vaccinations. Sage has no medical issues or surprises.

Story
Meet Sammy, a 10-year-old handsome, big brown tabby with an incredibly kind and gentle soul. After recently losing the only home he’s ever known when his owner passed away, this sweet boy is hoping to find a loving family to spend his golden years with. Sammy is the definition of easygoing. Laid back and independent, he’s perfectly content entertaining himself while you’re busy, but he’s always happy to be nearby. One of his favorite pastimes is lounging up high, keeping watch over his kingdom from a cozy perch. At night, he’ll happily curl up at the foot of your bed, quietly keeping you company. Having always been an only cat, Sammy has enjoyed being the king of his castle and likely would want to continue that. However, with a slow introduction and plenty of space, he could possibly live with another calm, laid-back feline companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion with a handsome face and an even bigger heart, Sammy is ready to fill your home with quiet companionship and unconditional love. Sammy is located in Westchester, NY. He is neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative. Apply at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/POSH/Cat Email questions to catadopt@poshpetsrescueny.org

Story
Rascal is around 3 years old - born in April of 2023. He was part of a stray litter in my friend’s backyard and came to live with us shortly after being weaned. He had all his shots in his first and second year but has not had his shots yet as of this year, also not fixed yet. He is very sweet, very chill, but can be rather shy as he does seem to be rather afraid of young children (we have two) and therefore spends most of his time hanging out in his nooks/hiding. He seems to only be shy around children though as he will socialize once the kids are asleep and the house is more quiet. Rascal hasn’t been around other cats/dogs so we’re not sure how he would feel. He is very sweet and cuddly when the kids aren’t around and frequently requests being pet! We love him dearly but unfortunately we feel he would be much happier, comfortable and better suited in a home without small (loud) children, and probably with the only other pet/s being a cat or cats with a similar personality.
