Story
Emmett is a happy boy, he's great with kids and adults alike. He's happy to be held and loves to lay in the sunshine. Lately since we've adopted a second kitten he's become more stressed and add to that the fact that our neighborhood is having a major issues with feral xxxx@xxxx.x 's begun to spray around the house to mark his territory. We've tried everything but the outdoor cats won't leave him alone, they are constantly peeing on our porches causing him to stress out more. He needs a new environment. I think he's happiest being an only child. We've had Emmett for about 3 years, he's a sweet boy, housetrained, no issues until now. It's very important for us that he goes to a home where he can relax and be loved.

Story
Tulip came to me from a friend who needed help caring for her and her sister. She never came back for them, and now they are looking to go to a loving home! Tulip and my other large cat do not get along, and it has had an effect on her. She is very skittish and will take a while to warm up to someone new. When she does get warmed up, she loves to snuggle and she loves scratches on the top of her head. She will spend hours walking on you, looking for pets! She will do best somewhere without dogs, kids, or a lot of loud noises. She doesn’t have a fair life with me and needs a quiet and calm home.

Story
I came to having this sweet kitty because my friend needed my help taking care of them while she was in the process of moving. Unfortunately she never came back. She does great with other cats, she will not mind dogs as long as they don’t bother her, and older children are fine though I think toddlers/babies may stress her out. She’s very vocal, cuddly, loving, and she loves to eat! She loves to follow you around and will sometimes be caught rubbing on my legs while I’m standing and doing something. She will make a great kitty for someone in need. She does have a sister and they have been together for a year+.

Story
I’m ALFIE, a stunning white and tabby mix with a unique spot pattern. I was found on a rainy night under a backyard shed at just 3 weeks old. Now, I’m a loving, purring machine who adores cuddles, belly rubs, and playtime. I love to jump high and chase after my toys. When I’m not napping, I like to spend my day bird-watching—I get really excited when I see birds coming to the window! I’m quite vocal when I’m happy and enjoy being around people, kittens, and other cats. I’m ready to bring joy and warmth to a new home! Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, deworming, and flea treatment. Neutered and felv/fiv combo negative. First time pet owners, a personal character reference is required. Must be over 21. Current pet owners, pets must be fixed and up to date with vaccines. Vet reference required. Donations appreciated from Chewy.com! https://www.chewy.com/g/feline-friends-of-moore-county_b71820310#wish-list Fostered in Vass, NC

Story
Agate (dob 4/2/25) is a petite girl, with the prettiest face and the most perfect marble tabby markings. Agate and her sisters came from a TNR site on a very busy road. They have done super in a foster home with a terrific family. Ready to find her forever home, she will need a patient family to allow her to settle in as she can be shy with new people. She'd love another feline in the home to help her feel more comfortable. Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, deworming, and flea prevention. Negative for felv/fiv combo test. Spayed. First time pet owners, a personal reference is required. Must be over 21. Current pet owners, pets must be fixed and up to date with vaccines. Vet reference required. Donations appreciated from Chewy.com! https://www.chewy.com/g/feline-friends-of-moore-county_b71820310#wish-list Come meet this affectionate kitten in Vass, NC!

Story
Rome may be a little rough around the edges, but he has got a heart of gold. He was found as a stray, but it's clear that boy knows what love is. He loves to be pet and he will nuzzle his face against yours to tell you how much he appreciate its. Rome is FIV +, but please do not let that deter you from adopting him! *FIV itself does not cause severe clinic signs, and FIV infected cats can live long and wonderful lives, just like any other cat. It is possible for FIV+ cats to live with other cats as long as there is no aggression, and can definitely live in a home with dogs!
