Kitty is looking for a new home! Kitty was adopted in October 2020 from Pet Valu in Picton, ON, via the Loyalist Human Society. Kitty was spayed at the Picton Animal Hospital and given a microchip. She has had some vaccines and receives regular flea/tick treatments. Kitty is an indoor and outdoor cat. She likes to snuggle and play and has great sense of humour. She also likes to run outside and is energetic. Due to a change in our home and work schedule, we are not able to keep Kitty.

She enjoys affection and companionship, but she can become overstimulated at times and will do best in a home where her boundaries are understood and respected. For this reason we feel a home with young children (under 8) would not be a good home for Monarch.Monarch likes to take things at her own pace and will need a patient family willing to let her settle in and build trust on her terms. With understanding and respect for her space, she can form strong bonds with her people. She does unfortunately not get along with other animals, and will need to be the only pet in the home. This lovely girl is looking for a calm, patient home where she can feel comfortable, confident, and appreciated for exactly who she is.
