Story
Meet Enid – A Mysterious Beauty With a Big PersonalityEnid is a striking black cat with a bold spirit and a mind of her own. She’s independent, confident, and full of character—definitely not your average house cat. Enid prefers to be the only feline in the home, as she’s not a fan of sharing her space or her humans. She would do best in a calm environment with older kids (12+) who can respect her boundaries and recognize when she’s had enough attention. Enid can get overstimulated at times, but with a patient and understanding adopter, she’ll show her softer side on her own terms. She’s also a bit picky with her meals, but that’s just part of her charm—Enid knows what she likes and expects her people to keep up!If you appreciate cats with confidence, attitude, and a touch of mystery, Enid might just be your perfect match.Enid recently spent time in a foster home and here is what her foster mom has to say about her: `She is a miracle cat that does NOT scratch furniture, she only scratches her scratch pad. I`ve never seen such a well behaved cat when it comes to scratching. She likes to be around her human, she will always be in the same room with you, even the bathroom. Physical touch is not her love language, she prefers to be admired from afar. But she does tolerate head scratches and will lean into a good chin rub, she starts to purr when you hit her sweet spot. She`s a nice quiet cat and likes to talk with little trills and chirps and only really meows when you return home or it`s dinner time. She has long term potential, when I first brought her home she would duck away from my hand when trying to pet her but after only a few weeks she is completely comfortable getting head scratches, with time and love she could turn out to be a cuddler, only time will tell. She is also very gentle. When I have to pick her up or trim her nails she never hisses or swats or attacks, she`ll just try and squirm away.`

She finds confidence in their presence and looks to them for reassurance as she settles in. She’s best suited to a peaceful, adult-only household where she can feel safe and comfortable.Goldenflower has been introduced to a calm dog while in foster care and gets along well with large dogs so long as they respect her space.
