Meet Beau: A Gentle Giant Looking for His Forever Home Beau is a big, loving dude who's been through a lot and is now searching for a calm and peaceful home where he can truly relax. This sweet boy doesn't understand why he's in Rescue, and he deeply misses the comfort and security of a real home. Despite this, Beau's gentle and loving personality shines through, especially once he feels safe and comfortable around you. Beau can be shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s super sweet, affectionate and loveable. His special features make him one of a kind too! Because he is missing some teeth it gives him a unique smile, and an adorable habit of sticking his little tongue out. Beau’s ideal home would be calm and quiet without young kids or dogs, though, he gets along with other friendly, gentle cats. Beau would thrive with a family who can provide plenty of love, attention, and gentle pets. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who will bring joy and affection into your life, Beau might be the perfect fit for you. Will you be the miracle Beau's been waiting for?, He's around 8 years old. Adoption application can be found here-https://airtable.com/shrGSvgMTS3wUQn2H

Story
Meet Almond Joy! If you're looking for a kitten with a heart as big as her personality, Almond Joy is ready to steal yours. Born in late April 2026, this beautiful brown tabby girl with bright green eyes came to Ninth Life Rescue Center from a Greensburg TNR project, where she was rescued alongside several other kittens. The "Joy" in Almond Joy couldn't be more fitting. She absolutely adores people and never misses an opportunity to ask for attention. Butt scratches are her favorite, and she'll happily rub against your legs until you stop what you're doing to give her the affection she deserves. She has an incredibly loving, social personality that makes everyone who meets her smile. When she's not soaking up pets, Almond Joy is busy playing. She loves every toy she can find and is always ready to chase, climb, pounce, and wrestle with the other kittens. Almond Joy has a permanently watery eye as a result of her past, but thankfully, there is no damage or ongoing issue with her eye. Her eye may occasionally have a little drainage, so she’ll simply need a gentle wipe from time to time to keep it clean and free of irritation. It’s a small bit of extra care for this sweet girl, and she takes it all in stride! Like all young kittens, Almond Joy will need a family prepared for the fun—and occasional mischief—that comes with kittenhood. She'll thrive with interactive playtime, scratching posts, climbing trees, and plenty of enrichment to keep her active mind busy as she grows. Almond Joy would be happiest going home with another kitten, especially one of her friends from the rescue. Kittens raised together help each other burn off energy, learn important social skills, build confidence, and provide companionship throughout their lives. They often adjust more easily to a new home as a pair, and you'll have twice the entertainment watching them chase toys, wrestle, and curl up together for naps. Ninth Life Rescue Center also offers a discount when adopting two kittens together. If you're searching for a kitten who is equal parts affectionate, playful, and full of personality, Almond Joy is ready to fill your home with exactly what her name promises—joy. Story
Meet Razzles!Razzles is a beautiful brown tabby girl born in mid-May 2026 and another member of our Candy Crew from a Greensburg TNR site. This little sweetheart has already been through a bit more than the average kitten, but she hasn’t let it slow her down one bit!Razzles recently had tissue repair surgery on her right eye and has been given the all-clear by our vet. Her eye may water occasionally, but it doesn’t bother her and she doesn’t require any special treatment at this time. It’s simply part of what makes our girl unique.Razzles has the perfect mix of sweet and crazy kitten energy. She loves being held, cuddled and loved on, but when playtime starts, she is ready for action! She LOVES toys of every kind, especially her tunnel, cat tower and wand toys. Give this girl something to chase, climb or pounce on and she is one happy kitten. And then there’s food. Razzles absolutely loves her wet canned food and has no problem pushing her way through the crowd to make sure she gets her share! One of the cutest things about Razzles is her choice of best friend. With all the kittens around her, she surprisingly decided that Steen, a full-grown cat recently added to her foster home, was her guy. The two have become buddies, and we’ve included a picture and video of them together. Razzles clearly enjoys having a feline companion and would love having another friendly cat or kitten in her forever home.Kittens often do best with a buddy. Having another kitten or playful cat gives them someone to wrestle with, chase, cuddle and learn appropriate play from while helping burn off some of that endless kitten energy. If you’re considering adding two felines to your family, we do offer a discount when adopting two.Razzles has already come a long way from her beginnings at a TNR site. Now she just needs the final piece of her story—a forever family of her very own who will love her sweet cuddly side, her crazy kitten moments, her special little eye and everything in between.Adoption application can be found at this link-https://airtable.com/shrGSvgMTS3wUQn2H

Story
Meet Frenchie – A Gentle Heart Just Waiting to Bloom Frenchie is a stunning white and gray tabby with a quiet soul and so much love waiting to share. Born around December 2025, this sweet girl has already come an incredibly long way. When she first arrived in rescue, she was frightened and unsure of the world around her. Thanks to the patience and love of her foster family, she's learning that people can be kind, and every day her confidence continues to grow. Frenchie isn't the type of kitten who will leap into your arms right away. She's still learning to trust and prefers affection on her own terms. While being picked up isn't her favorite thing just yet, she truly enjoys gentle pets and is discovering how wonderful human companionship can be. One thing Frenchie absolutely loves is to play! Wand toys, toys she can chase, and interactive playtime are the perfect way to connect with her and help her continue building confidence. Watching her playful personality emerge is incredibly rewarding. Frenchie is looking for a patient, understanding family that will let her blossom at her own pace. The greatest gift you can give her is time—the time to learn, to trust, and to realize she's finally safe. In return, you'll have the privilege of watching a shy kitten transform into a loving companion. She would also thrive in a home with another friendly, confident cat. Having a feline friend to show her that people are safe and life is meant to be enjoyed would help her gain confidence and settle into her new home even faster. Frenchie doesn't need someone perfect—she just needs someone willing to believe in her. If you have a kind heart, a little patience, and room in your home for a kitten who deserves a second chance, Frenchie may be the one you've been waiting for. Story
At around 6 years old, Arlo is a big, handsome tabby with striking stripes, soulful eyes, and a heart that's just waiting to trust again. After spending years in a crowded hoarding home, he's finally getting the chance to discover what it feels like to be safe, loved, and cared for. Arlo is a quiet, gentle boy who finds comfort in the company of other cats. One of his favorite things is curling up beside a feline friend for a cozy nap or giving them sweet little grooming sessions. Because of this, he'd love a home with another friendly cat who can help him continue building his confidence. He also does ok with calm, friendly dogs. Understandably, Arlo can be a little shy when meeting new people. He'll need a patient adopter who will let him settle in at his own pace, without expecting too much too soon. But once he realizes he's finally home, his loving personality begins to shine. There's an incredibly sweet, affectionate cat waiting beneath that cautious exterior—one who simply needs someone willing to give him the time he never had before. Arlo is FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) positive, but that shouldn't keep him from finding the loving family he deserves. FIV is only transmitted through deep bite wounds, not through sharing food bowls, litter boxes, grooming, or cuddling. FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, healthy lives and safely coexist with other friendly cats. After six years of uncertainty, Arlo is ready for something he's never truly had—a peaceful home, a soft bed, full bowls, and a family who will love him just as he is. If you have room in your heart for a gentle soul who's been waiting far too long for his happy ending, Arlo is ready to meet you.
