Story
Meet Wanda IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WANDA, PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO READ ABOUT THE PROCESS AND FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. www.furkidrescue.org Wanda was a young teenage kitten when we trapped her in a feral colony in Bethel Park. We had a cat experienced foster home willing to take her in as a foster and get her used to domestic life. It took months, but now she loves the indoors, and loves human affection and attention. She follows her foster mom, Emilie, around the house, “yelling” at her, and demanding pets and butt scratches. She also gets along well with the resident cats and dog, and you can often find her hanging out with the dog!

Story
Leo is the sweetest, most loving boy in the world. He gets along with everything & everyone—pets, babies, you name it. We recently moved & are having issues with the landlord and allowing pets. He is 3 years old but tiny, he’s always looked like a kitten to us. He also loves to go outside, he never strays far and he always comes back! It breaks our heart to have to part with him, so it is very important to us that he goes to a home that loves him just as much as we do.

Story
Once in a trailer park, Hera came into the rescue with a litter of kittens and quickly proved she's not just a survivor but royalty. She's sweet, social, and enjoys a good chin scratch, but pet her for too long or further down the back and she'll remind you who is in charge. Hera gets along with other cats, calm dogs, and respectful kids who understand that royalty appreciates boundaries. She's independent with a fun playful side, and just enough attitude to keep life interesting. She's happiest with a tall cat tree, occasional treats, and her favcorite toys. Her adoption fee has been fully sponsored.

Story
Rehoming a 4-5 year old small tabby cat that is fixed and up to date on rabies shots. She is a very people friendly cat. Only rehoming because we moved 6 months ago and she keeps fighting with our other cat. After moving she has occasionally peed outside the litter box. She has been cleared by a vet. Comes with September 2025 rabies tag + cat carrier.

Story
Once she warms up, Della loves to be near the action. She's a healthy eater and likes treats. Her favorite place to sleep is near a window where she can survey the neighborhood. Della came to the rescue with 4 kittens and she was a great mom. All her kittens were adopted but Della is still waiting for her furever home. Della loves head scratches and pets when it's her idea (usually when you're sitting still somewhere) but she's not a lap cat or snuggler. She does fine with other cats. She's very playful and sometimes even acrobatic.

Lynx is a shy and sweet cat. Sure of herself, she'll be cautious until she's sure she can trust you. She isn't particularly motivated by treats, but once she trusts and likes you, she's happy to hop up next to you and ask for attention. She might take a few weeks to warm up, but this lovely girl is well worth the wait.

Story
Shy - Skittish - Sensitive Flint may start out shy and a little hissy, but beneath that cautious exterior is a very sweet and gentle soul. He’s still learning to trust people and prefers to observe from a safe spot - usually a cozy corner or a good box. With patience and a calm environment, he begins to come out of hiding to watch the world around him, allowing soft pets once he feels safe. Flint tends to let his more confident brother take the lead (and sometimes the snacks!), so he’d thrive in a quieter home with gentle, understanding humans and possibly a calm feline friend who can show him the ropes. He’s a tender spirit who just needs time and love to blossom. Flint is in a foster home with his siblings, so if you're interested in meeting him, please fill out an application online!
