Tabby kittens & cats in Radford, Virginia

Jade and Cheyenne are looking for homes either together or separately. Their rescuer found these sweet female sisters when they were still tiny babies, abandoned with 10 other cats inside a crate at one of the green-box locations. Their rescuer and the humane society found homes for the others. The rescuer hoped to keep these 2 girls (she is keeping their mom) but a change in housing situation no longer allows them to stay. Jade is a rare female orange tabby. She is very cuddly and loves attention. She loves laying with you or on you, and being with you all the time. She’s very playful with her sister. Cheyenne is the dilute torti. She will come near you for pets when she wants them or at bedtime, she will come and lay by your feet or in between your legs. She is very playful but shy, which is how she got her name. Both girls are now 5-months old. They both have rabies vaccines and will be spayed October 12th, prior to adoption. Petey came to me by way of my uncle who had an extended illness. Apparently he was abandoned by his first owner. I have got him neutered and he has no problem with my other cats. He is a lovely cat that craves human companionship. I think Petey deserves to be in a home with a dedicated master. He has a lot of love to give his human. He needs time to adjust and someone that can offer him more pets than I can at my rescue.

Meet Socks, who was named NOT for his white socks, but because, as a young kitten, his favorite thing to do was to sit on his foster parents' feet.  It was the cutest thing!  Socks, his sister Shelly, and brother Rusty had a traumatic start.  At about 4 weeks of age, they were abandoned in a black crate in the sun on a hot summer day.  They would have perished if not for the neighborhood watch group, who acted quickly and get him into a foster home.  The kittens were skinny and sick, but now, with TLC, Socks and his siblings are the pictures of health.  Socks is playful and loves to play with humans and cats alike.  He hasn't been exposed to dogs yet, but he's young enough to learn to live with cat-friendly dogs.  He's affectionate, and one of his favorite activities is climbing—he sure does love his cat tower.  Current on vaccines, dewormed and FIV/FeLk negative, Socks is ready for the next adventure in life: finding his furever home and family.  Is that you?  If interested, please e-mail us at pals@psknet.com.  We'll be happy to answer any questions you have and get you an application.

Check out our pretty girl, Pearl2.  She's a sleek grey tabby, all ready to get pets from her people and hand out purrs in return.  This sweet girl was part of a feral colony and was trapped.  The plan was to release her, but her caretakers saw that, with a little work, she'd make a wonderful indoor family member.  Now, just a few weeks later, she's just part of the crowd with the foster family of dogs, cats, and people.  And a bona fide lap kitten, seeking a lap whenever possible.  If interested in adopting this sweetie, please e-mail us at pals@psknet.com.
