ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/cats/1336Name: CardamomGender: FemaleBreed: Domestic ShorthairAge: 1 year oldWeight: Just under 8 lbsCurrent Location: Alexandria, VAMeet Cardamom – Small in Size, Big in Personality!Cardamom is a funny, playful, and snuggly one-year-old kitty who packs a whole lot of charm into her petite frame. Weighing just under 8 pounds, she’s sweet, sassy, and full of personality. In her foster home, Cardamom is a bit of a Velcro kitty—she loves to be near her people and follows them from room to room like a tiny shadow. She divides her time between lap lounging, playing with toys, and watching the world go by from a sunny window.Cardamom is also delightfully talkative! She’s a chatty little thing with an adorably bossy streak—often “giving instructions” on when it’s time for pets, snacks, or play. Her future adopter will have fun learning what all her different meows mean. She loves chasing wand toys and showing off her graceful jumps during playtime. She has been calm and cooperative with nail trims, medications, and vet visits, and she’s perfectly litter-trained. Her foster says she’s been an absolute joy to have around.Cardamom would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention and share her affection (and her opinions!) with her people.Veterinary Care Included:- Visit to veterinarian for health certificate- Up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations- Spayed- Microchipped- Treated for worms and parasitesPreparing for Cardamom’s ArrivalTo welcome Cardamom home, you’ll need:- A litter box and litter- A cozy cat carrier- Cat food (wet and dry)- Food and water bowls- A vet appointment within the first few daysIf you're looking for a loyal and lovable little shadow with a lot to say, Cardamom is ready to spice up your life!

Story
Todd is a good boy. He likes to lay around the house and outside in the sun, if possible. He’s a cuddle buddy! He loves to snuggle and is a mellow boy. He’s always down for playtime also! We’ve had him since he was a kitten. Recent events in our life has caused us to post him on this website. We had a baby and moved into a new home and Todd has been spraying in one of our rooms. We believe this is due to stress and anxiety with a lot of recent changes going on. We believe with the proper love, care, and a quiet home he will be calm and happy. His hobbies include sun bathing, playing with cat toys, and cuddle time before bed.

Story
Meet Mandy a 5-6 year old tabby cat. Mandy's owner is elderly and had a fall last summer. Owner is now in assisted living and is very concerned about finding a good home for her sweet Mandy. When her owner was at home Mandy was a mostly indoor cat but would go outside on occasion. She has always been around dogs and other cats. The dogs have new homes and Mandy has been living alone since her owner went to assisted living in October. She is bashful at first but warms up fairly easily. She would make an excellent companion once she gets to know you and feels secure again.

Story
Beans is 2 years old. She was adopted from the shelter a little over a year ago. We have 4 kids and she is great with all of them! She was the only pet in the home but we were told she does not do well with dogs. Recently she has been peeing and pooping in the house outside of her litter box. Since we have so many little ones running around this is not something that we are comfortable with in the house. We would love to find her a new home instead of returning her to the shelter. She is very playful and enjoys playing hide and seek/chase. She also loves to play in and tare up cardboard boxes. She has a cat tree that we would be happy to send with her. Along with a food bowl and food/treats. She also enjoys sitting out on the deck. Beans is a low maintenance cat that will sleep at the foot of your bed each night!
