Story
Meet Kitten — Loving Cat Looking for a Special Home Kitten is a sweet, affectionate cat with a gentle spirit. She’s trusting, cuddly, and loves to purr when loved. When she ran away, she clawed out our window screen to escape, but she’s back now and as loving as ever. She’s a bit shy at first and can get scared when pet, but with patience, she blossoms. We’re seeking a calm, attentive home where she can receive the love and focus she deserves. Our busy household makes it hard to give her the attention she needs, so we want her to find someone who can cherish her fully. If you can provide her with a loving, patient environment, she will reward you with endless affection. She’s an incredible cat who just needs the right person to share her love. Please reach out if you’re interested in giving her a forever home.

Story
This is a 2 for free deal. Their names are Phoenix and Potato. They are brothers, a little less than one year old. They were both given to us because they needed homes, my husband’s allergies to cats cannot take on two though. They are very much bonded with each other so I’d like them to go with each other. They love to sleep and afterwards run around like they have the zoomies. They love to cuddle and strive for your attention and would sit on your lap all day as you pet them. They have had no problems with other animals or any aged kids. I’d recommend getting them neutered to prevent chances of them spraying. They have been exclusively indoor cats.

Story
Olwen is a 2 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative! Meet Olwen! Olwen came into the shelter as a very shy and nervous guy who did take a while to adjust to his new surroundings. In his new home, he will need lots of time to adjust but once he does he is a low-key and mellow guy who likes to relax his days away. He enjoys spending his time taking long cat naps, lounging up high in his cat tree, or relaxing next to a sunny window. He also adores spending lots of quality time with his feline friends. While Olwen is starting to warm up and does allow pets at times, he is still a very unsure guy who is working on his socialization. So, he would do best in a low-key home with a cat savvy family where any children are at least 12 years of age or older and understand that he does startle very easily from fast movements and loud noises. He LOVES spending time with his kitty friends and looks to them for comfort when he is stressed. So, he is required to go to a home with another cat. He may do ok with other calm and respectful pets in the home as well given very slow and proper introductions to one another. Story
Meet Rupert!! Rupert is a 7-month-old neutered male who is up to date on all his vaccinations.Rupert is a playful, curious guy who’s always ready for his next adventure—whether that’s zooming around the house, climbing to the top of his cat trees, or settling in to watch the mesmerizing world of a fish tank. He has a fun, energetic personality and absolutely loves playtime, especially when he has a feline friend to share it with.Rupert is still working on his people skills, but he’s been making great progress. He’ll happily interact with his favorite people when the mood strikes, but he generally prefers the company of his fellow cats. In fact, he’s much more confident when another cat is around, so he must go to a home with a friendly feline companion or be adopted with another cat.Currently living in a foster home with two respectful dogs, Rupert does incredibly well with them and can thrive in a home with calm, cat-savvy pups who understand his boundaries. He’s also comfortable around older kids and would do best in a home with children 8+ who can be gentle and respectful of his space. If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application

Story
Pepper is a 2 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!Meet Pepper! When Pepper first arrived at the shelter he was not the happiest guy being in a new place. All it took though was putting him in a bigger room to get this guy to morph into the sweetest guy around! He now loves greeting people as they walk through the door and will politely ask for pets by rubbing right up against your leg. While he may need some time to adjust in a new home, once he does he is an affectionate, curious, and easy going guy who will surely be your next best friend! While Pepper has shown us what a truly delightful guy he can be, he may still on occasion prefer his space—and isn’t afraid to let you know when that may be! So, he would do best in a home with slightly older children at least 8 years of age or older who can understand when he may prefer his independence. In his last home he did live with other cats; so, he shouldn’t mind having another feline friend in his new home either. He may do ok with other types of respectful pets too given slow and proper introductions to one another. If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application
