Story
Willie is a 6 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!***Willie is bonded with his housemate Whalen who is also available for adoption! So, this pair of handsome men are required to go home together - for ONE combined adoption fee!Meet Willie! Willie is a gentle and affectionate guy. He's mellow, laid back and complements his bonded buddy Whalan perfectly. While Whalan is social and seeks attention, Willie prefers to simply hang back and watch from a distance. He does enjoy slow, gentle pets from his favorite people but it happiest when he can simply lounge around soaking up sunshine watching the birds and squirells, never letting Whalan get too far away. He also does just fine with his independence—especially since his pal Whalan is always close by! While Willie is one of the most gentle guys around, he does still startle on occasion and get stressed when there is a lot going on around him. So, he would do best in a bit of a calmer and quieter home with kids at least 5 years of age or older. He should do ok with other types of calmer and respectful pets in the home too given slow and proper introductions to one another. Story
Meet Puddin' Pop! Puddin' Pop is a 10-month old spayed female. She is microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Puddin' Pop is a funny and sweet girl who's adorably topsy-turvy! She doesn't realize this but, she has suspected Cerebellar Hypoplasia. Don't worry though, this doesn't affect her everyday quality of life and doesn't mean there will be any additional veterinary costs! Puddin' Pop is a born cuddler, snuggling with her humans whenever she can sneak a chance, and also loves to give kisses (I mean, she was raised by huskies). Puddin' lives every day to the fullest, zoomin' around and acting like every other cat. She plays and climb's the cat trees like a normal girl. While her foster mom has made climbing the cat tree's a little easier for her, she can still maneuver them just fine. Puddin's favorite toys are spring's and turntable ball toys. She also likes to carry around her beloved lamby- which is actually one of the dog toys but, the dogs love her and have decided she's worth sharing it with! Puddin' Pop will thrive in any home with slow and proper introductions, this includes homes with kids of any age or other pets. Story
Meet Snowy! Snowy is a 6-month-old spayed female. She is microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Don’t let her name fool you—this little girl has blossomed into such a sweet and affectionate kitten once she feels comfortable in her space and with her people. She might need a few days to settle in at first, but once she does, her warm and loving personality really starts to shine.Snowy came to the shelter a bit on the nervous side and needed some patience, but in her foster home she’s made incredible progress. She now lives with a senior foster cat named Asia and a young, cat-savvy Golden Retriever, and she’s doing amazingly well with both! She’s learned how to navigate different personalities and has really come into her own. While she can still be a little startled by loud noises and sudden movements, Snowy enjoys cuddling, playing, and spending time perched in a sunny window watching birds and squirrels go by. She’s a great mix of gentle and playful, especially once she feels safe.Because Snowy thrives with feline companionship, she’s required to go to a home with another cat or to have a confident kitty friend waiting for her. She would do best in a calm home, and any children should be 8 years or older and able to respect her boundaries. With her positive experience around her foster’s dog, she may also do well with a calm, cat-savvy dog after slow and proper introductions. If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application
