Story
Willie is a 6 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative! ***Willie is bonded with his housemate Whalen who is also available for adoption! So, this pair of handsome men are required to go home together - for ONE combined adoption fee! Meet Willie! Willie can be a shy and more reserved guy at times but he is absolutely one of the sweetest guys around! He adores slow, gentle pets from his favorite people and is happiest when he can just simply relax right by your side. When you aren’t around though he also does just fine with his independence—especially since his pal Whalan is always close by! He is a very mellow and low-key kitty who otherwise enjoys relaxing his days away whether he’s lounging next to a sunny window, catnapping in a cozy bed, or hanging out with Whalan. While Willie is the sweetest guy around, he does still startle on occasion and get stressed when there is a lot going on around him. So, he would do best in a bit of a calmer and quieter home with kids at least 5 years of age or older. He should do ok with other types of calmer and respectful pets in the home too given slow and proper introductions to one another. Story
***Thanks to a generous donation from the Andy and Connie Ziemelis Charitable Fund, select cats are having their adoption fees sponsored by the Home Sweet Home Program – including Winnie's! Meet Winnie!! Winnie is a 1-year old spayed female. She is microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations and FIV/FeLV negative! Winnie is a lively, affectionate kitty who loves to play like a kitten and rule her kingdom with charm and sass. She’s endlessly curious and always up for a good game of chase — especially if her favorite shoestring toy is involved! (With her adorable extra toes, she’s got quite the grip!) Winnie is also a cuddle bug… but on her terms, of course — she’s a queen, after all. When she’s ready to snuggle, she’ll melt right into your arms and purr her heart out. This special girl has limited vision, likely from a past trauma, but you’d never guess it from how well she gets around. Her only little quirk is that she startles a bit easily, so she’d do best in a home with respectful children 10+ who can give her gentle approaches and plenty of love. With slow and proper introductions, Winnie should do well with other cats and even cat-savvy dogs — she just needs a little time to feel safe and confident in her space. If you’re looking for a playful, sweet, and resilient companion who will fill your home with joy (and a few royal demands), Winnie might just be your perfect match! Story
Olwen is a 2 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative! Meet Olwen! Olwen came into the shelter as a very shy and nervous guy who did take a while to adjust to his new surroundings. In his new home, he will need lots of time to adjust but once he does he is a low-key and mellow guy who likes to relax his days away. He enjoys spending his time taking long cat naps, lounging up high in his cat tree, or relaxing next to a sunny window. He also adores spending lots of quality time with his feline friends. While Olwen is starting to warm up and does allow pets at times, he is still a very unsure guy who is working on his socialization. So, he would do best in a low-key home with a cat savvy family where any children are at least 12 years of age or older and understand that he does startle very easily from fast movements and loud noises. He LOVES spending time with his kitty friends and looks to them for comfort when he is stressed. So, he is required to go to a home with another cat. He may do ok with other calm and respectful pets in the home as well given very slow and proper introductions to one another.
