Story
Goofy, happy-go-lucky guy who loves every new person!Extremely affectionate around peopleAround other cats, Alvin definitely needs a gradual introduction and monitored interactions before feeling fully comfortableOnce he’s made cat friends, Alvin enjoys snuggling with themHe also enjoys playing with fellow felines — he does have a rougher play style and doesn’t always recognize his size though, so he’d do best with a cat who matches that energyTreat-motivated and human attention-motivatedHas a great sense of curiosity, taking every opportunity to eagerly explore new thingsHe’s sure to bring that same sense of confidence and enthusiasm to a new home and life

Story
Older gal who’s hoping a kind person will take her in and spoil her in her golden yearsHer previous person sadly had to go into the nursing home; family members cared for Trea as long as they couldAccording to family, Trea previously lived with another cat in her younger years but has been a solo pet for over 10 years now – so she may do best in a similar environment, where she can have all the spotlight on herShe loves to catch some sun in front of windows or lounged out on the porchEnjoys attention and brushing, but will communicate when she’d like a breakOnce Trea bonds with someone, they become her favorite and she turns into a lap cat who also prefers to snuggle in bed at night! Can still be pretty playful with her favorite mouse toys — especially in the middle of the night — and gets a thrill out of laser pointersHas a fondness for food puzzle toys with treat rewardsNot a fan of loud noises or sudden movementsNeeds an adopter who’s patient and understanding while Trea adjusts to these sudden life changes and acclimates to her new home, on her own time. According to her former foster family, once she settles in, “she’ll become your sassy new best friend!”Trea’s adoption fee is reduced and on a sliding scale. If you’re interested in meeting her, please submit an application for next steps. We’re happy to work with potential adopters to find the right amount that works within your budget, especially if it helps Trea find her best fit family!

Story
Sweetheart senior lady looking for a pal to spend her golden years withHer previous family left her behind when they moved, turning Agatha’s whole life upside down when she needed them most. Thankfully, WAHS had room to take her in and provide a soft place to land, getting her medically up to date and ready for a fresh start – with a family who truly deserves her!Agatha’s currently residing in a loving foster home where she spends most of the day cuddled upHer favorite napping location is a lap, although she’ll also settle for a couch or cozy cat bed!Other animals may be on a case-by-case basis: we’re unsure if she’s lived around dogs, but she did arrive with a fellow senior cat brotherMedical note: because Agatha is a senior who may not have been to the vet in some time, she does have a few medical differences we want a potential family to be aware of. Agatha’s hard of hearing, and sometimes she experiences accidents when she can’t make it to the bathroom quickly enough. She’d do well in a small living area where all of her essentials are close by.Please give Agatha the chance to know what a true, loving family feels like. She’s ready to settle in and be surrounded with kindness. For the small amount of extra care she may need, she’ll repay it with a whole lot of love (and purrs)!
