Story
Meet Mint Julep, a charming three-year-old neutered male tabby who is every bit as refreshing and sweet as his name suggests! This handsome fellow is the definition of "laid back," preferring to spend his days offering quiet affection and soaking up all the chin scratches you’re willing to give. While Mint Julep is FeLV+, he is a resilient boy who can still live a wonderfully healthy and happy life; he just needs to be the "only child" in your heart or join a home with other FeLV+ feline friends. Fully litterbox trained and incredibly gentle, Mint Julep is ready to settle into a forever home where he can be the loyal, easygoing companion he was born to be. If you’re looking for a special cat with a heart of gold, give the shelter a call to learn more about this sweet tabby boy!For more information, contact the City/County Animal Shelter at (307) 686-5249.

Story
Meet Catpurrnicus, a 2-year-old neutered male tabby who is ready to revolutionize your heart! True to his name, this handsome fellow is a gentle soul with a very sweet personality that shines once he feels settled. While he can be a little shy in new environments, he warms up quickly and will soon be looking for a cozy lap or a soft head scratch. Catpurrnicus is a social guy who doesn't seem to mind the company of other feline friends and is mostly housetrained, though he may need a little patience as he learns the layout of his new kingdom. If you’re looking for a peaceful, loving companion to brighten your days, Catpurrnicus is the perfect discovery! For more information, contact the City/County Animal Shelter at (307) 686-5249.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Elaina is about 10 years old and still acts as young, independent as ever. Elaina enjoys being an only pet, doesn't mind dogs if they leave her alone, and isn't friendly with other cats. If you want a pet that's independent, but still wants to cuddle at night, she is the one for you. She is an indoor cat only, is playful with plush mouse toys, lasers, and loves wands. Elaina is litter trained and prefers her box cleaned everyday. The only treat I've seen her eat is turkey meat. I can provide her preffered litter, crate, and current food she is eating. If you need to, you can change her food, but it may take her a couple of days to start eating it to adjust. She can be nauseous during car rides, but with the right treat she will be alright. She is up to date on her vaccines as pf April 2026.
