Tabby kittens & cats in Wyoming

Betsy Ross is 6 years old, and we have had her and her littermate brother since they were weaned. She is a beautiful and sweet kitty -- skittish with other animals mostly because she was bullied by her larger brother. She loves being held and petted "on her terms" (like most cats!). She is a mostly indoor cat but likes to be outside (usually at night) and likes to bring us small "presents," so she would probably be a good mouser. Her primary caregiver was our daughter who passed away this past spring. We intended to keep her and her brother (her brother is already re-homed), but we travel OFTEN, and it is just not fair to her to simply be fed and watered. She needs love and attention, but she doesn't get enough when we are away. It would be best if her new home did not have other cats if they dominate. Dogs would be fine if they are "nice" to cats. She has been around our "granddogs" throughout her life. Older children would also be a good fit. This is a hard placement but necessary.
