Story
Adopt Rocky! 🐾
Rocky is an energetic, charismatic 8-month-old Aussiedoodle who’s equal parts brains, heart, and zoomies. He’s a super smart boy who loves to learn, is very treat-motivated, and genuinely wants to please his people. Rocky already knows a solid list of commands—sit, stay, (almost) heel, come, hop up, and more—and he even knows how to ask to go outside!
This active pup needs plenty of physical and mental stimulation to thrive. Continued training is important to help channel his energy, and he’d be happiest in a home with a fenced yard (no apartments please!) space to run or with an adopter who enjoys running, hiking, or other outdoor adventures. Rocky loves attention and wants to play all the time, so a busy, engaged household is ideal.
Rocky is fantastic with kids and would make a wonderful family dog. He also does great with other dogs and would love a canine playmate—the companionship and playtime would be a big plus for his high energy needs. He’s played happily with dogs of all sizes and ages.
Bonus perks? 🚗 Rocky loves car rides, sits calmly, and enjoys watching the world go by. He’s also very affectionate and prefers not to be left alone for long periods—he truly wants to be wherever his people are.
Rocky will need regular professional grooming, typical of his breed. He is currently weaning off medication for a non-contagious skin condition, so we’re looking for an adopter willing to do a foster-to-adopt placement for the remainder of his treatment (about one month).
