**Casey is a courtesy post and is not located at or affiliated with Paws Crossed Casey, previously referred to as Nana (like the nanny dog in Peter Pan) is a 100lb border collie/Great Pyrenees mix who was recently moved across the country with his family and has become very anxious with his new neighbors living so close by, so he is looking for a forever home. Casey’s anxiety is now heightened by his juvenile companions (a 2.5 year old and 6m old), so he would like a quieter home without children. He’s selective with other dogs and needs slow introductions, but he loves to play with dog friends. He is crate trained, house trained, neutered, and mostly good on leash. He loves watching squirrels. Needs a strong handler who knows what they’re doing, he’s barrier reactive and has some fear aggression. Clark is a 4-year-old Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of love and energy. He’s the perfect blend of playful and affectionate — he lives for a good game of fetch, loves to run and explore on long walks, and will happily snuggle up at the end of the day for some well-earned cuddle time. Clark is incredibly smart and thrives in a calm, structured environment. He’s looking for an experienced, patient dog owner who understands the needs of a sensitive, loyal pup. Like many herding breeds, Clark is very aware of his surroundings — he does have reactive anxiety and can be slow to warm up to new people. He would do best in a quiet, adult-only home with someone who can offer him consistent routines and lots of outdoor time. Clark is dog-selective — he tends to prefer calm, submissive dogs and doesn’t do well in off-leash group settings. He is not suited for a home with children.
