Emmy is an athletic and playful pup, always up for a game of fetch or catching bubbles in the air. She's also smart and eager to please, quickly learning her routine and favorite activities. With a loving heart and a playful spirit, Emmy is the perfect companion for adventures and cuddles alike. She's a loyal and affectionate dog who will bring joy and laughter to her new family. Could that be you? Emmy is believed to be a Heeler mix, young at approx 1 year old, vaccinated, and spayed. Emmy is also dog friendly and would like to do a meet and greet with any other dogs in the home. Story
Meet Teddy — an energetic, intelligent boy who’s looking for the right person to help him thrive. Teddy is very high-energy and can become easily overstimulated, especially around other dogs and people. He’s been working with a trainer, who notes that Teddy the kind of dog with a lot of insecurity beneath his big personality. True to his herding-breed roots, Teddy likes to use his mouth, so continued training and clear boundaries are important. He will do best with an experienced, patient adopter who can provide a consistent routine, clear communication, and a “job” or structured outlet to help channel his energy. With the right guidance, structure, and commitment, Teddy has the potential to make great progress and become a rewarding companion for the right home. - Around 1-1.5 years old - Currently around 45lbs - Needs slow introductions with dogs and cats - Would do best in a home with kids 16+ - Adoption fee: $175 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions or want to possibly schedule an appointment on one of our closed days, you may email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.
