She absolutely adores kids and truly shines around them—gentle, loving, and happiest when surrounded by their laughter. She’s also eager to learn and wants so badly to do the right thing, making her a wonderful candidate for continued training and confidence-building. Venus can be very shy around men. While we don’t know her past, we believe she may have experienced something difficult involving a male, so she’ll need patience, kindness, and understanding. Meet Thor (aka Potatoe , Po, or Taty Boy!) Thor is an almost 6-year-old Aussie mix with a big heart, a strong work ethic, and a whole lot of love to give. True to his herding roots, Thor thrives when he has a job to do and enjoys staying busy—he’s happiest when his mind and body are engaged. He does great with other dogs, cats, and even livestock, making him a versatile companion for the right home. Thor walks well on a leash, crates well, and knows many basic commands. He’s smart, eager, and enjoys structure. Thor does best in a home with older kids only, as he doesn’t quite understand boundaries with little ones. He is incredibly protective of his people and loves deeply, forming strong bonds with those he trusts. When playtime is over, Thor is all about the cuddles—especially after he’s been worn out. His favorite things include tennis balls, treats, and quality time with his humans.
