Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Felicia was rescued from a high-kill shelter as a puppy on  November 9, 2024 , and has been patiently waiting in foster care ever since. Despite spending most of her young life in foster, this sweet girl is still waiting for someone to discover just how special she is.   When Felicia first arrived, she was timid and unsure of people. Thanks to the love, patience, and dedication of her foster, she is blossoming into a curious, friendly, and confident dog. She now enjoys meeting new people and is doing so much better at Petco adoption events!   Felicia has a playful, goofy personality and loves to run, play, and show off her zoomies. After a fun play session, she’s happy to curl up for a cozy nap.   Felicia is a small-to-medium-sized adult dog, weighing around 45 pounds . She is  crate trained, house trained, and spayed , making her ready to settle right into her forever home.   Please contact us with any questions! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Pippa Pippa is a fun-loving, loyal and energetic girl who’s always ready for her next adventure! She’s incredibly smart and athletic. She does well on a leash, loves car rides and already knows basic commands like sit, stay, shake, down and come. She would thrive with an active family that enjoys keeping both her mind and body busy.   Pipa’s most favorite thing is being with her people. She’ll happily follow you from room to room, making sure she never misses out on the action. She also loves her toys and spending time exploring outside.   She has been well-socialized and does great with all dogs. She loves all people as well. She can be a bit mouthy when excited, so she should be watched around small children. Her fosters have been working with her, and she is improving in this area every day!   She’s already sleeping through the night in her crate like a champ! House training is still a work in progress. However, she can be crated during the day and at night with no accidents. While she does not yet alert you when she needs to go out, she will go days at a time with no accidents if taken out frequently. She will need a family willing to continue helping her learn with patience and consistency.   If you’re looking for a clever, loyal companion with lots of personality, Pippa is for sure your perfect match! Story
This handsome 4.5 month old puppster is called Boy George and he is what you would call….a character.  A Border Collie mix puppy who is smart and mischievous and a leader in life.  He was born in a litter of 8 puppies around the middle of October and he was the biggest kid in the bunch. He is laidback yet very much an involved pup when it comes to creating dog events that are fun and inquisitive.  He is one that doesn’t back down because he knows that he can win the challenge with his tenacity.  Boy George has conquered all the obligations in his life to learn about housebreaking, crate time and how to walk on a leash with at least a B- rating.  Practice will make perfect when in a family that has more one on one time for him.  He is going to be a 55 pound boy once he is grown.  His Mom is Blue Eyed Kaye and she is a wonderful girl with a happy demeanor and has certainly passed it along to all her sweet offspring.  Boy George is a good pup but he is looking for an even smarter owner that will figure him out before he slips one in on you. He is loving and can be an attention grabber because when you are raised in a pack of 8 siblings, you kind of crave some private time for yourself.  Boy George will be a fun pup to raise and one that will excel at puppy training classes.  At 18 weeks of age and 32 pounds, he is a great size to take on car rides, walks on a trail or  your local neighborhood.  He will welcome new dogs and people to meet and did we mention that he LOVES CATS!   To our Boy George they are just another friend in life!   We will require a home with a securely fenced yard so that this boy can explore and hang out in the great outdoors/backyard.  He is not a digger and he is not a fence climber.  But he is a dog that requires the stimulation both physically and mentally every day.  Teach him things and he will make you a proud dog owner. Someone is looking for a dog like this.  Maybe an only dog in the home or just a great addition because he will be play buddies with anyone.  But always know that you must be the leader of your pack and Boy George.  He craves the boundaries and rules.  He thrives best not having his way and is so moldable.  If interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Mention where you live, city and state.  Transport is available to the northeast outside of Tennessee where he is being fostered PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption. Story
Meet Artsy Marcy – A Survivor with a Brilliant Mind and an Even Bigger Heart     Artsy Marcy is a beautiful Border Collie mix, around 2 years old and weighing 55–60 pounds. Her life began with unimaginable hardship, yet she has never let her past define her. It is believed that Marcy and her siblings were abandoned in a remote rural area of Tennessee. While trying to survive on their own, tragedy struck when they were hit by a train. Her sister did not survive, and Marcy was left with a severely dislocated hip. Thanks to a compassionate foster who refused to give up on her, Marcy received the surgery and care she desperately needed. Today she has only a slight limp—a small reminder of just how far she has come.     Marcy is everything you would expect from a Border Collie mix: incredibly intelligent, observant, athletic, and eager to be part of whatever her people are doing. She loves hiking, exploring, and would thrive in an active home where she can exercise both her body and her mind. She has a natural herding instinct and enjoys having a job or purpose.   She is wonderful with people and genuinely enjoys human companionship. While she may be a little shy during first introductions, she warms up quickly and forms strong, loyal bonds. Once she trusts you, she is affectionate, devoted, and eager to please.     Marcy has lived around cats, but she does have a prey drive, so any home with cats should be experienced and committed to proper introductions and management. She also does well with some dogs but can be selective about her canine companions. Like many intelligent, confident working breeds, she appreciates respectful introductions and clear leadership. She would do best with an adopter who understands Border Collie personalities and will provide consistent structure, training, and outlets for her energy.     Marcy isn't looking to be just another dog lying quietly in the corner. She is looking for someone who will appreciate her intelligence, celebrate her spirit, and give her the freedom to be the amazing Border Collie mix she was born to be.   Against all odds, this remarkable girl survived when she easily could have been another forgotten statistic. Now she deserves the happy ending she has fought so hard for.   If you'd like to learn more about Artsy Marcy or speak with the foster mom who saved her life, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.     Could you be the person who gives this extraordinary survivor the forever home she's been waiting for?       ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Richie ' Sambora ' is what this Border Collie mix puppy should be called because he is so handsome and extra charming.  Born around April 1st, 5 months ago from 9/1, his mom was a 40 pound girl with 4 puppies who were all left outside in the harsh heat while their owner went on vacation.  No food, no water was left behind.  Soon Animal Control was there to take the sweet dogs in to the shelter for relief and care. Richie is 25 pounds and a very special boy.  He has very special eye coloring that gives him two different colored eyes that make him absolutely unforgettable.  This boy Richie has already figured out that those beautiful eyes have a way of melting hearts.  Look out ladies, this handsome boy knows exactly how to turn on the charm and if he played guitar like Sambora does with Bon Jovi, he would be dangerous. But underneath those gorgeous eyes is a sweet puppy who is learning that humans can be trusted and that life can be pretty wonderful.   He is almost housebroken, crate training is successful and he is good with all other dogs and cats as well.   We expect him to the same weight range as his momma, 40 pounds.  He is happy and curious and playful.  Working on his leash skills and he has had a great deal of guidance from his foster persons that have helped him the past few weeks.  If you would like to adopt this happy young pup please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  Mention where you live.  A fence would be an ideal situation for this boy to run free and with total safety to hang outside for hours.     ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. We are delighted to say that during this beautiful season of renewal and friendship and family bonding, we have 8 precious little Border Collie/Aussie mix puppies that are looking for a fresh and forever start to their life. Story
Meet Mick!  Mick is a handsome 3-year-old boy with so much to offer! He is dog friendly, walks great on a leash, crates well, knows how to sit and lay down, and absolutely LOVES his toys. He’s a smart boy who already has some great manners under his belt! Mick’s one quirk? He takes mealtime pretty seriously and does not like sharing his food with people or other animals. He will need a family willing to respect his space during meals, continue working with him, and feed him separately—such as in his crate, where he is already comfortable. Outside of mealtime, Mick is a fun, lovable guy just waiting for someone to give him his chance. Have other dogs at home? Bring them along for a meet and greet! Come meet Mick and see if this toy-loving boy is your new best friend!    ##2723800##

Story
Meet Red Red first came to us as a stray, and shortly after arriving we learned he was heartworm positive. After months of treatment, rest, and lots of love, this sweet boy is officially healthy, heartworm-free, and ready for his forever home. At 8 years old, Red is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and couch companion. He gets along well with other dogs and truly enjoys making new friends. Red is a cattle dog through and through — smart, loyal, and just a little mouthy (it’s his breed’s way of communicating!). Because of this, he would do best in a home without children. His dream home? - A farm buddy to tag along on daily chores -Car rides with the windows down -Porch sitting at sunset  -Late-night cuddles on the couch -Cat free If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will stick by your side through every adventure, Red might just be your guy. Interested in giving this sweet boy the home he deserves? Come meet him! Have other dogs? Bring them along for a meet and greet. ##2396017##

Story
Meet Heidi!  A beautiful Heeler mix looking for her perfect home! This smart girl is dog friendly and would love to meet any future canine siblings before heading home. She would do best in a kitty-free home where she can be the star of the show. Heidi already knows how to sit and is always happy to show off her manners for a tasty treat. She’s sweet, loyal, and full of personality, the kind of dog that will keep you smiling every day. Whether she’s out exploring or relaxing by your side, Heidi is happiest just being with her people.
