Meet this stunning Pharaoh Hound/Basenji mix - 18 months old and ready for the right partner in life! I'm a trained, well-balanced young dog looking for a perfect pet parent - someone who understands good dog leadership and believes in clear rules, boundaries, and limitations. That structure helps me relax, stay calm, and truly be my best, most loving self. I'm highly energetic and thrive with long daily walks and active outings. I have excellent recall, walk beautifully on and off leash, and absolutely love running alongside a bike or cart. If you enjoy movement and adventure, I'm your dog. Social skills? Nailed them. I'm well socialized, love playing with other dogs, and fall right in the middle of the pack - confident, friendly, and easygoing. I also genuinely enjoy human company, playtime, and being part of your daily life. Story
Miley is a very sweet girl, she loves attention and being lazy when she is not playing. She has recently become hostile towards our small dog and they can not be together. I do not know if she acts this way with all small dogs. Just our dog or if she doesn't like other girl dogs. Miley has no problem with our other bigger dogs. She routinely plays with our Australian shepherd and a dog we fostered and now keep that is bigger than her. I was told by the person I got here from that she is a pure bred Rhodesian Ridgeback. If she is pure bred she is a runt. She is definitely a daddy's girl, she does listen to my wife but prefers to be by my side. She will take some work to adjust to a new home and new people. She has never been aggressive to our kids or grandkids. She really is a good dog. She needs a fresh start where she will not be judged for biting our small dog. I think she would be great with another dog her size that likes to play. She is crate trained.
