Meet Tutu, an adorable 2–3 year old Pomeranian mix who weighs just barely 10 pounds and is so unbelievably cute that people regularly do a double take. With her fluffy coat, sweet little face, and tiny size, she looks more like a plush toy than a real dog— but beneath all that cuteness is one of the gentlest, most loving little souls you'll ever meet.   A Day in Tutu's World   Tutu starts her weekdays around 6:30 a.m. when her foster mom wakes up. She'll quietly peek over to make sure you're awake, then happily lounge on the bed while you get ready for the day. Around 7:45 or 8:00 a.m., it's time for her morning stroll, followed by what she considers one of life's greatest joys: breakfast! Her kibble gets softened with warm water and, if she's especially lucky, topped with a few tiny bits of cheese or a spoonful of wet food. Tutu patiently watches every step of breakfast preparation, curious to see what delicious surprise might be added that day.   While her foster mom is at work, Tutu relaxes comfortably in her own enclosed space, complete with a cozy kennel and dog bed where she happily naps the day away. Her setup is simply to keep everyone safe while she's home with her larger canine foster sibling.   The best part of Tutu's day begins when her people come home. Between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m., she's ready for another walk, and her sweet personality shines. Tutu loves visiting the park, taking in all the wonderful smells, and observing the world around her. She isn't in any hurry—she often pauses just to gaze into the distance as if she's contemplating life's biggest mysteries. She enjoys greeting friendly people and politely meeting other small dogs, especially after watching her foster brother show her that new friends are safe. She's gained so much confidence since arriving in foster care and is walking farther on her own every day. She still occasionally stops or pulls on leash, but she's making wonderful progress.   After dinner, she enjoys spending time snuggled with her family before heading out for one last evening potty walk and then curling up beside your pillow for a peaceful night's sleep.   A Tiny Princess with a Heart Full of Love   From the very first day, Tutu showed everyone exactly who she is—a sweetheart through and through. She loves giving kisses, happily greets dogs she meets on walks, and absolutely melts when someone picks her up.   The best way to describe Tutu? She's a tiny princess who believes cuddles are one of life's necessities.   The moment she comes home from a walk, she'll hop onto the bed and patiently wait for pets and snuggles. Pick her up, and she simply melts into your arms, content to soak up every bit of affection. She loves sleeping tucked right beside your head at night, making sure you're never far away.   Her favorite greeting after her foster mom gets home from work is an enthusiastic welcome filled with little spins, happy licks, excited sniffs, and then—without fail—a request to climb right into your lap for cuddle time.   Gentle with Everyone   Tutu has lived beautifully with an older male dog since arriving in foster care. She's respectful, gentle, and enjoys canine companionship without being pushy. She especially likes meeting friendly small dogs during walks and is happy to say hello to new people once she knows they're safe.   She's also perfectly content living in an apartment or condo. One thing to know is that she isn't a fan of stairs, so her foster family either carries her or takes the elevator. Given her tiny size, that's an easy job—and honestly, Tutu seems perfectly happy being chauffeured like the little princess she is.   A Relaxed Little Companion   Tutu has a calm, easygoing personality. Most of the day she's content to nap in her cozy bed or kennel, saving her bursts of excitement for when her favorite people return home.   She enjoys leisurely neighborhood walks, but she's much more interested in sniffing than logging miles. She's not looking for marathon hikes—she'd much rather accompany you on short adventures, café outings, errands, or anywhere else her tiny size allows. She would happily ride along in a carrier bag or backpack while staying close to her favorite person.   Training & Manners   Tutu has made wonderful progress with her routine. She now reliably goes potty during her walks and has found her favorite outdoor spot. She also has access to a potty pad in her pen and will occasionally use it.   She's learning good leash manners and does best wearing a harness, which is much more comfortable for her tiny frame.   She's also a wonderfully quiet companion. Her foster family has only heard her bark a handful of times when something unfamiliar caught her attention. She isn't interested in chewing furniture or household items, and she hasn't shown much interest in toys—people are far more exciting.   Tutu's Perfect Home   Tutu would thrive in almost any loving home, whether it's a house or an apartment. She'd love someone who enjoys having a constant little companion by their side and who appreciates a dog whose favorite hobby is simply being loved.   She would do wonderfully as an only dog soaking up all the attention or with another gentle canine companion. Most of all, she's looking for someone who will happily scoop her up for cuddles, include her on everyday adventures, and treasure the endless affection she has to give.   Why You'll Fall in Love   It's impossible not to smile when you meet Tutu. Between her stuffed-animal looks, her gentle spirit, her sweet little kisses, and the way she completely melts into your arms, she has a way of making everyone who meets her fall instantly in love.   If you're searching for a tiny best friend who will greet you with happy spins, sleep peacefully beside your pillow, and remind you every single day just how wonderful unconditional love can be, Tutu is waiting to meet you. August 1, 2026, 12:06 pm
