This history has left him shy and cautious at first, but with time, patience, and kindness, Boone reveals his deeply affectionate side. Once he begins to trust, Boone becomes a devoted companion who craves gentle affection and enjoys peaceful moments with his person. He thrives in a calm environment and takes comfort in the presence of other dogs—he gets along wonderfully with canine companions and would benefit from a home with another friendly dog to help boost his confidence. Currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, Boone is looking for a foster or forever home in Central Texas only. He needs a loving, understanding family who can help him continue to blossom at his own pace. Handsome Toro is magnificent! He's stunningly handsome and a very sweet boy. Toro's previous family got rid of him when they had a baby. They kept him as an outside only dog and his sensitive skin (being a Sharpei mix) has taken a toll. He's currently receiving treatment and responding very well. His exterior wounds are healing, except the tip of his nose, because he loves to bury his bones, lol. Toro's heart is also slowing healing from being abandoned by the only family he had ever known but he's happy now, because he's getting lots of attention and walks now. Toro is a total love. Very affectionate and playful. He loooooves car rides. Toro is happiest when he is by your side. We are looking for a calm, adult household with yard access. Toro should be an only dog. Please do not apply if you are looking for a guard dog or a dog to make you look tough. We are only placing Toro into a responsible, sensible home who will keep him safe and happy from now on. Breaker is up for adoption in TX, NE and PNW (excluding MA)! Breaker is a 1-year-old, 65-pound Great Dane/Boxer mix with a heart as big as his goofy grin. This splash-happy pup LOVES the water—whether he’s chasing toys into the pool, splashing through a creek, or just romping around the yard, Breaker is always up for adventure. With the playful energy of a Boxer and the gentle, loyal nature of a Dane, he’s the best of both worlds—equal parts fun and affection. Breaker is dog-friendly (with pups his size), loves people, and is happiest when he’s part of the action. He’s making great progress with crate training and is learning his puppy manners, especially when treats are involved. Breaker wasn't given much structure as a pup so, Breaker sometimes tries to play bite to get his way. Even after a board-and-train program, he will need a family committed to consistent, positive reinforcement training to help him reach his full potential. Breaker would thrive in an active home with space to play and maybe even a doggy sibling to share his adventures with.
