Handsome Toro is magnificent! He's stunningly handsome and a very sweet boy. Toro's previous family got rid of him when they had a baby. They kept him as an outside only dog and his sensitive skin (being a Sharpei mix) has taken a toll. He's currently receiving treatment and responding very well. His exterior wounds are healing, except the tip of his nose, because he loves to bury his bones, lol. Toro's heart is also slowing healing from being abandoned by the only family he had ever known but he's happy now, because he's getting lots of attention and walks now. Toro is a total love. Very affectionate and playful. He loooooves car rides. Toro is happiest when he is by your side. We are looking for a calm, adult household with yard access. Toro should be an only dog. Please do not apply if you are looking for a guard dog or a dog to make you look tough. We are only placing Toro into a responsible, sensible home who will keep him safe and happy from now on. I’m Neko, a 3-year-old Mastiff/Akita mix with a gentle soul and a big heart. I recently finished treatment for heartworms and did an amazing job resting and healing. Now that I’m feeling better, I’m ready to get back to enjoying life. I’m potty trained, independent, and love being around my people. I’m also a big fan of other dogs, which is why I sometimes get excited when I see them — I just really want to go say hi! When I’m feeling my best, I love long walks (2+ miles) and exploring the world with my person. Molly Malone is a soulful girl who is finally ready to leave her difficult past behind and step into a future filled with love. Looking at her, you can't help but fall for her striking, velvety blue coat and those deep, expressive eyes that seem to be searching for a place to belong. She has adorable, heavy-set paws and soft, floppy ears that frame her face perfectly. While her early life was tough, it hasn't dimmed her spirit; she has a gentle, curious expression that shows she’s ready to trust again. Molly Malone carries a small reminder of her past—a healed fracture in her right front leg that caused her wrist to grow at a unique angle. The great news is that she has been medically cleared and is currently walking well without showing any signs of pain. She doesn't let it slow her down one bit!
