Story
George is a 1 year old chihuahua/terrier mix with a heart as big as his love for cuddling. The moment he sees you, he flops onto his back for pets, and once you start the attention, he’ll happily melt into full-on lap-dog mode. Cuddling is his specialty, so if you have open arms he'll be happy to fill them. Adorable George is also a spirited tug-of-war champ when playtime rolls around. He is a fun little guy of about 13 pounds and is learning so much about being safe and loved! This little cutie is sweet, affectionate and eager to please. George was found dumped at in a winery parking lot, so he just needs a little time for his fear to go away and realize he is safe. Once that quickly happens he will be your adorable snuggl muffin! He is doing great with crate training and is mostly potty trained, though he’s still learning to signal when he needs to go out. Sometimes walks feel a little scary for him, but he’s also making steady progress with patience and practice. George is looking for someone who wants a loyal little shadow and a whole lot of love. They must all be trained with positive reward based training and all are all up to date with vaccinations, altered, microchipped, HeartWorm tested, and on preventatives. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
