PWRESCUE.ORG Meet Max – Your Future Snuggle Buddy! Looking for a loyal little shadow to follow you around and shower you with affection? Max might just be your perfect match! Max is a one year old, 5-pound poodle mix. Max is a bit shy and can be a bit defensive and possessive at times, especially when guarding a treat or his favorite human, but he responds well to gentle correction and just needs an experienced, patient adopter who can help him feel safe and secure and continue to gently correct him when he gets an “attitude”. This little guy adores car rides, toys, and playtime – especially when it involves zoomies in the yard! He’s happiest when he’s near his people and will quickly find his favorite spot right on your lap. Max is a sweet, snuggly pup with a heart full of love and a nose for adventure. He’s crate trained, does well with both men and women, and is great with children and other dogs. While he's still working on being fully housebroken, he reliably uses pee pads and just needs continued guidance as he adjusts. He’s still learning basic commands like “sit” and “quiet,” and with a little time and training, we’re sure he’ll pick them up. He is still very much a puppy, so providing him with sturdy chew toys and keeping him active would help with his puppy energy and curtail any mischievous puppy activities! Max would thrive in a loving home with someone who understands the needs of a slightly timid pup who is still learning the ropes and would benefit greatly from another confident, playful dog in the home to help build his confidence. In return, he promises loyalty, lots of laughs, and more cuddles than you can count. Max is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.00.
