Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogBiography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Hi! My name is Bamboo, and I am a little Maltipoo boy who is 2 years old, and I weigh 5 pounds.I am very afraid of this big new world so I must have a quiet, all-adult home and a sibling to help me learn the ropes would be ideal. I am very hard to catch and will bolt if given the chance. No apartment living for me as I need a secure area. I am not leash trained or potty trained as I lived in a cage in a breeding facility my whole life. Everything is very new to me. If you have been waiting for a gorgeous Maltipoo please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Bamboo 021724-35  April 29, 2024, 11:29 am

Story
PWRESCUE.ORG *PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY* MUST HAVES: Another, younger playful dog in the home; safe secure yard. Paolo is a 5-month-old, 9 pound male poodle mix. Paolo came to us when someone found him outside a convenience store shivering, skinny, and lost and no owner came forward to claim him. Now he is full of puppy energy!  He loves to play with his foster puppy pack and will require another young, playful dog in his new home. He loves being held and cuddled and then after that, is back to playing full on!  He can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly and will be your best friend in no time (especially if you have treats)! As he is still a puppy, he will need guidance and obedience training as he continues to grow up and will gain confidence about the ways of the world with another dog (not too old) in the home and would love a yard to run and play in.  Any children in the home should be at least 12 years old and of a gentle, responsible nature. With his boundless energy and friendly demeanor, Paolo is always up for an adventure and eager to explore the world around him. If you're looking for a furry companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your life with joy, Paolo is the perfect match for you! Paolo is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. If you are interested in this sweetheart, please visit our website at: https://pwrescue.org and click on the "Adopt" button to complete an application. His adoption fee is $400.00. Story
PWRESCUE.ORG Special needs - dominate personality, need experienced owner.*PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY* Leo is a 7 year old, 22 pound Lhasa/poodle blend boy. He came to the rescue when his owner was unable to care for him. He will do best with owners who understand the Lhasa “personality” which is a dog that is very strong-willed and it’s been said that “when a Lhasa Apso looks in the mirror, he sees a lion”.  Leo will be a wonderful and loyal companion IF his new owners can establish a relationship of mutual respect – i.e. admiring his independent character while consistently enforcing your rules so that he respects you as well. His new owners will require patience, as it will take a while (maybe weeks) for him to get used to a new environment and once he does, he will be very loyal. Leo wants love and attention but is not usually a cuddler. His "M.O." is fairly vocal and often uses "growling" not as a warning/don't touch me, but rather as an expression of his attitude. He has never bitten his previous owner or current foster, but the growling-type vocalization needs to be understood.   He loves walks, running around in the backyard and he loves to sleep with his human. If his humans are strong leaders and exert matching energy (not overpowering or forceful behavior) he responds well. He will do best in a home with just his humans or possibly another submissive (but not younger) dog.  He will not likely get along with young children and would do best in a home with only adults.   With patience and mutual respect, this lovely boy will reward his owners with unmatched loyalty and love!   Leo is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $280.  Please visit our website at: https://pwrescue.org and click on the "Adopt" button to complete an application.Pathways Home Animal Rescue April 23, 2024, 10:30 pm

Story
PWRESCUE.ORG *PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY*  MUST HAVES: ANOTHER YOUNG PLAYFUL DOG IN THE HOME; SECURE FENCED YARD. Abby is a 8-10 month old, 14 pound female Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu blend. She came to the rescue when her owner could no longer care for her.  Since Abby is still in her puppyhood, she will need another playful dog in the home to run and play with.  She can be a little shy with new people, but warms up quickly! She is house trained, loves her toys (especially playing tug) and bounces around with her foster siblings. She will do well in a home with plenty of activity and lots of attention, so would love to have at least one human home most of the time.  Any children in the home should be at least 12 years old and of a kind, gentle nature. Abby is a silly, goofy young girl that wants lots of attention! She will follow you anywhere on the chance you just might want to play! Fetch and tug are two of her favorite activities, but when she's done, she wants to be in your lap and always touching you! Abby is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $400.00.
