Story
PWRESCUE.ORG Meet Max – Your Future Snuggle Buddy! Looking for a loyal little shadow to follow you around and shower you with affection? Max might just be your perfect match!  Max is a one year old, 5-pound poodle mix. Max is a bit shy and can be a bit defensive and possessive at times, especially when guarding a treat or his favorite human, but he responds well to gentle correction and just needs an experienced, patient adopter who can help him feel safe and secure and continue to gently correct him when he gets an “attitude”. This little guy adores car rides, toys, and playtime – especially when it involves zoomies in the yard! He’s happiest when he’s near his people and will quickly find his favorite spot right on your lap. Max is a sweet, snuggly pup with a heart full of love and a nose for adventure. He’s crate trained, does well with both men and women, and is great with children and other dogs. While he's still working on being fully housebroken, he reliably uses pee pads and just needs continued guidance as he adjusts.  He’s still learning basic commands like “sit” and “quiet,” and with a little time and training, we’re sure he’ll pick them up. He is still very much a puppy, so providing him with sturdy chew toys and keeping him active would help with his puppy energy and curtail any mischievous puppy activities! Max would thrive in a loving home with someone who understands the needs of a slightly timid pup who is still learning the ropes and would benefit greatly from another confident, playful dog in the home to help build his confidence.  In return, he promises loyalty, lots of laughs, and more cuddles than you can count. Max is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $300.00.  If you are interested in adding Max to your family, please visit our website at: https://pwrescue.org/ and click on the “Adoption Application” button at the top of the page to complete an application.  Pathways Home Animal Rescue April 14, 2025, 2:26 pm

Story
Charlie is an adorable and happy Toy Poodle who is anxious to have a family of his own. He is very loving and will greet you with happiness every time he sees you. He’s a small boy weighing about 8 pounds and has a beautiful white coat. He is excellent for grooming and gets along with everyone. He’s good with other dogs and good with people. We have not had him around young children, but would be happy to do a meet with children who have had previous experience with A Dog. Charlie does take medication 3 times a week to stabilize his digestion, but it is inexpensive and we will start his New Owner off with a good supply. He has not had any health problems since he has been with us. Charlie is approximately five years old and is fully vetted. He will come with all his records. Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well potty trained Charlie is. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise he should be easy to train. Charlie is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Charlie’s adoption fee is $400 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! If you would like to be considered to for this adoption or any of our amazing rescues, please fill out the application with the help of this link. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AZST/Dog. We review each application carefully. Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest. We appreciate all applicants and do our best to pair every dog and family for a successful and happy life.

Story
Cooper may be small in size, but he’s big on personality! This young, playful pup is ready to find his forever home—but be warned, he’s got a bit of a spicy streak. While he’s affectionate and loves to have fun, he can be a little shy at first. Give him a little time and patience, and he’ll quickly show you his true, loyal nature. Cooper enjoys the company of other dogs and would thrive in a home with a furry friend to keep him company. He loves to run, jump, and dig, and has been known to easily hop over fences—so a secure backyard is essential for his happy, curious spirit! He’s a little mischievous, but with the right guidance, he’ll be the playful, loyal companion you’ve been looking for. A patient, experienced adopter will be a perfect match for this energetic guy. If you’re ready to help him continue to grow, and can provide the love, structure, and space he needs, Cooper will be your best buddy in no time! **Adoption Requirements:** - A secure, fenced-in backyard - Patience and experience with a playful, energetic pup - A love for quirky personalities and loyal companions Are you ready to meet Cooper and see if you’re his perfect match? He can’t wait to start his next adventure with you! 🐾 Apply today on azdawgz.org
