She had every reason to be scared — and sadly, that fear almost cost her life. She was scheduled to be euthanized simply because she was deemed a “bite risk.” But really… she was just a terrified little girl who needed kindness. Once she had a chance to rest and feel safe, Tiny Pinky began to show her true self — sweet, gentle, and full of love. She’s now decompressing and slowly learning that the world can be kind again. No one could tell where this dog would have ended up. Thanks to the rescuers in S. Korea, this pup is longer in danger of getting trapped in dog meat trade! DoVE Project has rescue partners in S. Korea who have their own private shelter and/or foster network. Our dogs stay with either a foster family or a private shelter until they are matched with an adopter in the US. Upon arrival in the US, our dogs stay in foster homes or in boarding, as we do not have a physical facility. These dogs are identified with "in LA" in their names.
