Story
Adopt Me: Lucky Age: 6.5 years Gender: Spayed Female Breed: Pekapoo (Pekinese/Toy Poodle) Weight: 10.6 lbs Location: Humansville, MO Lucky is a sweet and small Pekapoo who came to us from a commercial breeder. She has spent her entire life being passed around from breeder to breeder, meaning she's never had much stability. She's currently in foster care learning how to "dog" and she's doing great! She is learning to go out for potty breaks and gets along great with the other dogs. She is shy so a home that will be patient and give her time is best! Interested in adopting Lucky? Visit www.nmdr.org to submit an adoption application (select Missouri). After submission check email (spam folder too!) for response to set up an adoption appointment. Email bethw@nmdr.org with any questions. We don't allow our pets to fly as cargo or be shipped. Please check your spam folder after submission of application. We respond via email and many responses go into spam. All NMDR dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped.

Story
Coraline is a 7-year-old Toy Poodle weighing 11.6 lbs. She’s a gentle, sweet girl who may be a little reserved at first, but with patience and the right people, she can warm up and show her loving personality. Coraline would do best in a calm, understanding home where she’s given the time and space she needs to feel comfortable and secure. A meet and greet is required at our shelter to ensure Coraline is a good fit for her future family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and are willing to let a bond grow naturally, Coraline could be the perfect match. ------ Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!

Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dog  Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children, and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Phoebe, and I am a beautiful Toy Poodle girl who was born 4/6/20, and I weigh 8 pounds. A sibling to play with and learn from would be ideal for me.  If you have been waiting for a gorgeous Toy Poodle girl, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Story
Yasmin is a 6-year-old Bichon Frise weighing 9.6 pounds, and she’s a soft-hearted little girl who prefers a peaceful, calm environment. She can be nervous and timid, especially around loud or sudden noises, and would thrive in a quiet home where she can feel safe and relaxed. Yasmin appreciates a slow, gentle approach and does best with kind handling and predictable routines. With time, patience, and lots of reassurance, Yasmin will begin to raise her head a little higher and show her sweet, tender personality. She is a lovely companion for someone who understands sensitive dogs and wants to give one a truly safe place to land. ---------- Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Yalinda is a 6-year-old Bichon Frise weighing 11.2 pounds, and she’s a quiet, tender-hearted girl who is learning to feel safe again. She is timid, nervous, and shy, especially in unfamiliar situations or around loud and sudden noises. Yalinda benefits from a calm environment and people who move slowly and speak softly. New experiences can feel overwhelming for her, so she does best when given time and space to adjust.
