Story
My name is Wilby and I am one good looking boy, and I weigh about 30lbs. I came the shelter in the fall of 2025 with a few other dogs, and we each were in crates and found by the roadside. The reason why I am still at the shelter with all of my cuteness is that I was a bit challenged. I was not into strangers, I take time to warm up to people and our staff have worked with me slowly to gain my trust, and I have made a ton of progress and I am doing fantastic now...I am ready to be adopted! I would require a few meet and greets before I could be adopted and I would do best as your one and only. I absolutely love toys, play fetch and I walk good on a leash. Once I am comfortable with you I am very affectionate and cuddly with my humans. I definitely have opinions & a silly quirk - I need my green toy to go with me on walks as I like to carry it around. I am a good watch dog, and will bark to alert my humans, so apartment living would NOT be good for me. Ultimately, I would be prefer quiet, country living, and I don`t mind cats at all. I would do best in a home with out kids - I just need a simple stress free life to be happy!

He’ll need a little time and patience but he’s going to make a great little dog for someone! - Dog/cat friendly - Crate trained - Working hard on potty training - Nervous on leash, fully fenced yard required - Needs another friendly dog in the home to learn from If you’re interested in adopting Odin please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt Adopters must be local enough to get him to his upcoming neuter appointment in the Buffalo, NY area (included in his adoption fee) *Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications.
