Story
ChaChi is a 5-year-old, Poodle/Pekingese mix. He's a 12-pound bundle of personality who came to Good Catch as an owner surrender. His previous family loved him dearly but found themselves too busy to give him the attention he deserved. ChaChi needs someone who has the time (retired or works from home) to pile on the daily love this boy deserves. If you're looking for a canine personal assistant ChaChi's got it covered. He will follow his person from room to room, loves being carried about, and would like to know your whereabouts at all times. He's a perfect boy who just wants to be near his human. This fuzzy boy is full of life! He loves playing tug-of-war, fetch, and just about any other game you can think of even if the rules aren't clear. ChaChi strikes a great balance between energy and chill—he’ll zoom around for a bit, then be more than happy to curl up on his bed for some downtime. He's a master at both napping (preferably on a lap) and leaping over piles of snow. While we’re not sure why, we know he’s happiest in a home as the only dog. He also has a strong prey drive and sees cats as something to chase, so a cat-free home is a must. Grooming? No problem! ChaChi did great at the groomer and will need a trim every couple of months to keep his ears clean and his rear tidy. He’s friendly with everyone he meets and will make your heart smile as your loyal sidekick. ChaChi is fully vetted, microchipped, and currently on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Ready to add some zoomies, snuggles, and endless love to your life? ChaChi’s waiting! ChaChi is being fostered in Brattleboro, VT.

Story
Missy is a 5 1/2 pound, 4 1/2 year old black toy poodle. Missy is a typical poodle. She wants to be with you all the time. She is happy, friendly and playful but, mostly wants to be a lap dog. She would do best in a home where someone is home with her much of the time and, ideally, with another small dog for companionship when she does have to be left home. When she gets excited, she will run up and nip people on the ankles. She never does this to her chosen person but, everyone else is fair game. She is not aggressive. It’s a game to her. I usually just pick her up and hold her until she settles down. Her housebreaking is so, so. She does well with frequent trips outside but, doesn’t go to the door to let you know she wants out. She is especially prone to accidents when the weather is wet and cold. Missy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. She is being fostered in Arkansas. In the Santa picture Missy is the one on the right. Her adoption fee is 700.00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC. they are a wonderful transport delivering pets to the East Coast every other weekend. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Meet Shawn Shawn is a four-year-old black poodle weighing just 12 pounds, and he is ready for a fresh start and the loving life he deserves. He was found fending for himself in an abandoned building in Kentucky, and despite his tough beginning, Shawn has a gentle spirit and a lot of love to give. When Shawn was rescued, his coat was extremely matted and had to be shaved down to a short crew cut. As his fur grows back, expect beautiful, luxurious black curls that will turn heads and make everyone a little jealous. Regular grooming will help keep him looking and feeling his best. At only 12 pounds, Shawn is an ideal size for apartment living and would make a perfect travel companion or shopping buddy. He is easy to take along and happy to be by your side wherever life takes you. Shawn arrives in New Jersey on February 1 and is ready to leave his past behind and be pampered like he truly deserves. If you are looking for a small, sweet companion to spoil and love, Shawn may be the perfect addition to your home.
