We are located in Arkansas. She is around 10-12 months old. Very friendly. She was picked up running down our local highway. We believe she is a tree walker hound. We transport to the easy coast weekly as long as weather is permitting. If you are ready to add a hound to your life please contact us! Winston is a Treeing Walker Coonhound who was rescued from Tennessee by Double Dog Rescue, Simsbury CT, and adopted in Oct. 2020. He is 3.5 years old. He is a goofy, funny, loving dog who will greet you with tail wags and a coonhound hug. He has high energy and loves long walks, playing tug-o'-war with toys, belly rubs, and sniffing out things in the park. He loves playing with other dogs and currently attends Doggy Day Camp twice a week. His counselors and his veterinarian comment about how well-behaved he is. He does need some continued training with his leash-walking and indoor manners (counter-surfing, jumping up on people, etc.) but he is food-motivated and scented high-value treats are some of his favorites. He would thrive in a home that has a fenced-in yard, other dogs to play with (no cats), and a home in an area without traffic or too many neighborhood distractions. He is loyal to his family and would be a great companion for the right person.
