We have no choice but to keep getting out this freckle eared fella `cause he`s so adorable and so darn nice!! Arriving as a stray, he`s not lost any time in settling in and is ready to go and do and make new friends. Very friendly, welcoming and graced with a happy, peaceful vibe, we say there`s nothing like a hound dog and SCOUT no doubt slips right into this category! Beautiful on the leash and of course curious about new sights and scents, he`s done a nice job in casually meeting other dogs as we walk around on site. While it`s sad to think Scout`s family is not coming for him, it`s clear they have guided him to some very appealing pet skills. Now, YOU can benefit from their investment in him. Our most handsome boy has been overlooked and now, it`s his time to shine. Scout loves ALL and embraces ALL! Check out his pics and brief report card today then stop by tomorrow to meet this great dog. He`s waiting to meet you!! Note: 3 yrs old; 55lbs Report Card: Scout did great on his day out! He was energetic, playful and sweet! He is not quite house trained yet and was a little nervous in the car. However, he was great on leash and such a sweet boy! He had so much fun walking, running and even watching football!! He’s the best!Facebook Update Sept 22: SCOUT is thrilled YOU are tuning into HIM!! He needs out ASAP!Our handsome boy wishes to share his great off site adventure yesterday to South Cove County Park. Did he have fun or what? What we know for sure is that Scout is a smile maker and everyone, yes everyone loved him!! Very snuggly, friendly and wishing to meet as many folks as possible, he was 100% in his element exploring the park. With some extra pep and wiggles in him, a more active family will be a great match for Scout. Special thanks to Ranger Mathew for hosting Scout at the park! Our 3 yrs old friend arrived as a stray with a horrible/large mass on his ankle which we removed. He has a clean bill of health and is ready to get on with his pet life! He`s been a little picky with other dogs so a meet/greet is essential. Having said that, he might say, `I`m all you need for a pet anyway.` As an active houndy, Scout is having a tough time keeping it together at the shelter and is very, very stressed. He needs a nice, big area to run and explore and catch some fresh whiffs. Very playful and so much fun to have by your side/in your life, we know Scout`s family is out there. Might it be you??
