Approx. DOB: 12/4/22                 Approx Weight: 23.5 Lbs Adoption Fee: $275 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! Smokey is the sweetest boy!! He loves to snuggle and is very submissive. He LOVES to play with other dogs so definitely needs a housemate. Being a Beagle or Basset mix, he loves to follow his nose so a secure fence is necessary. He is a total goofball. I rarely hear him bark. He is good with cats. Mostly wants to play with them but is also scared of them. He nervous pees when he gets scared. Loves to play with toys and chew on cow hooves. Likes to carry the basket of hooves around in his mouth. He is silly and super fun!! Resource guards a tiny bit but corrects easily. A perfect boy!!  I have been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, wormed and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible. He would do okay in a home with cats with proper introductions. KID TEST: (Good with Kids) Flounder seems like he would do good with kids of all ages! HOUSE BROKEN: (Potty Trained) Flounder seems to keep a clean kennel and will potty outside. ENERGY LEVEL: (Medium) Flounder is a big boy and a big sweetheart. Flounder doesn`t mind saying hi to new people and asking for rubs! He likes to run around and play with other dogs here at the shelter.
