Story
Lady is being fostered in TX. HI! I am delighted that you are interested in knowing more about me! I am about 3 months old*. My absolute passions are EAT, MOVE and Cuddle! In fact, among my many super pawers is my super sense of smell, so I became highly excited when smelling delicious foods around me! My foster mamma and I are working hard to learn how to harness this super power! My second super power is my high level of energy and my strong curiosity, I guess that makes three super powers, isn’ it? If you don’t give me a job to do, I will find it on my own! So it is very important for me that you become my guiding light. Yet, I also want you to be soft and cuddle with me in quiet times, since I actively look for bonding, reassurance, and safety. I am good with kiddos, but I will prefer kiddos 6+ since I - for now - get excited and might scratch them by accident. Also, I highly benefit from tolerant and playful siblings who can help me balance when the puppyhood zoomies come! Did I tell you that I am already potty trained? YUP!!! I am proudly potty trained. Regarding my eyes, I have Microphthalmia which “is a congenital condition where one or both eyeballs are abnormally small” on my right eye. My foster momma is seeing a little cloudiness on my left eye*, so I am going to visit an eye specialist in mid August. However, I have not presented any issue navigating the house, jumping the stairs, or avoiding any obstacles in the backyard. I am sure my foster momma will update any relevant info after our appointment. Are you ready to love me? * By the time of this writing on July 2nd. BDRA has voted against the use of eletrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Nicholas is the biggest ol' hound boy with that famous hound dog bark! Nicholas does love his people, but he needs to really learn what being a family dog is all about. Nicholas has been pretty reactive with other dogs since coming in, but did do well with the cat he was tested with. He has gotten better on leash, but still needs a new owner that will teach him manners and want to work with him to get the reward of his love for the rest of his days. Nicholas is a young, 4 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound. Do you have the space on your couch for this goofy hound dog?

Story
Ricky is a 6 year-old male treeing walker coonhound. He has lots of energy and would be a wonderful adventure dog. I took him on a 10 mile hike and he did amazing. Of course he loves to have his nose to the ground, and I even saw him point several times. He loves to play with other high energy dogs. After he is done playing, he is the best snuggler. Ricky has been to training and has done wonderful. He knows many commands. He is very food motivated, which helps with training. Ricky has shown some food guarding around other dogs. No cats for Ricky, and kids 15+.
