Copper is a very loving Treeing Walking Coonhound that was found abandoned and starving in a very remote area.  He was taken to a vet to find that he had been shot multiple times with a pellet gun.  Copper has been treated, neutered and vaccinated.  He is great with most dogs and seems to prefer male doggy friends. Copper is affectionate with his people but can be leary when new people enter the home especially men. Copper needs a home without cats.Copper is house trained and friendly in nature. Copper successfully completed the treatment for heartworms and got a clean bill of health from the vet. He is released for activity restrictions and absolutely loves being able to play and run again! Copper has a lot of energy and he needs a fenced backyard to run around and sniff around - he has quite the sniffer on him! Copper may be best suited for a family with children over 10 years old because he could knock over smaller children in his excitement. If you like to spend a lot of time outdoors in your fenced property, if you are looking for a barn chores buddy, if you are looking for a hiking partner, Copper would love to meet you!! Meet Koda, a 3-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound who didn’t have the easiest start, and you can see some of his story in the character of his nose and permanent head tilt. But don’t let that fool you—it doesn’t slow him down or affect his happiness one bit! Koda is resilient, joyful, and more than ready for the happy ending he deserves. ❤️ Koda is truly just a really good boy. He is sweet, affectionate, and loves attention. He enjoys the company of other dogs, but he’s also perfectly content to relax and be wonderfully chill. Whether he’s hanging out with his canine friends or soaking up one-on-one love, Koda is happiest when he’s with his people. And, of course, Koda is a hound—which means he comes with a big, beautiful voice! His bark makes an appearance when he gets excited, and it’s just part of his charming hound personality. He also takes to training easily and is eager to learn, making him a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys helping a dog continue to grow and thrive. After all Koda has overcome, he deserves a family who will see what a special boy he is and give him the love, patience, and forever home he’s been waiting for. Story
We got Bella in 2021 from someone a friend worked with who was looking to rehome her. We got her spayed shortly after that and she immediately got along with our other dogs. She is about 7 years old, although we do not know when exactly she was born so that is more of a guess based on what the previous owner told us. Bella is a very sweet girl and loves when people pet and love on her. she will cuddle on the couch or on an armchair for hours at a time. She is usually fine with strangers and will go up and want cuddles from anyone and everyone. She is wonderful with our 3.5-year-old son and loves to play and cuddle with him. For a new home Bella needs somewhere that she will not be left alone frequently, and people that can give her a lot of attention. The ideal home would have a yard large enough for her to run as much as she needs. She does love kids and would do well in a home that has children. She has also been great with our other dogs (beagle and black lab).

Story
Hello, Bella is a roughly 9 year old Walker hound / Rottweiler mix. She is the sweetest dog, but she has pretty intense anxiety especially with bad weather. She does great on a leash or off leash with a vibrating collar, which I can also include. She has had professional behavior training, but can be destructive due to the anxiety. Somewhere she could share a bedroom and not be crated would be ideal. Also it would be ideal if she had somewhere to run and release her energy. She's about 55 pounds but likes to snuggle like she's a lap dog. Small fee to hopefully discourage bad matches.
