Truly is a beautiful Treeing Walker Coonhound with lots of personality and energy. She loves to play and will play 24 hours a day if you let her. Truly is learning a few basic commands like sit and stay. She is getting better at walking politely on a leash and she's made great improvements in this area! Truly has done excellent with other dogs in the home, and she currently lives with a cat. Truly has done well around children of all ages. She is incredibly intelligent, is a goofball, has learned that pets and affection are a good thing, and she loves to get on the couch or bed when allowed. Overall, Truly is a wonderful dog, and she is looking for a loving family that is looking for an energetic dog that can channel his energy into training and exercise by providing lots of mental and physical stimulation for her.

Rosie is a fun-loving puppy with a sweet temperament. She is great with children and loves to run and play - with any human or other dogs. Rosie is a bit cautious and curious, but loves attention and equally loves playing with kids. Rosie will bark at squirrels who sit on low branches and tease her with the shaking of their tails. Rosie sleeps in a crate every night and seems to love it in there.

Story
This is Jake. He is a fantastic dog who is loved by everyone he meets! He is friendly and loving and very happy to have been rescued from an outdoor pen where he spent 4 years of his life. Jake has swiftly become a favorite among everyone he encounters. Despite his challenging history, he is as sweet as can be. He is incredibly affectionate and adores any kind of attention. Jake delights in the outdoors, relishing in rolling around in the grass and basking in the sun. With a personality that's larger than life, we are confident his forever home is waiting out there! He appears to get along well with other dogs, but gets too excited about cats. This animal has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Now, he is prepared for his forever home! Jake has always been a great dog, but he also has his nuances, as with any pet. He loves his walks around the neighborhood and while he can pull a bit, he quickly understands to slow the pace on command. While he generally isn't around a lot of people, he is kind to all and loves his pets. He is best meeting new people outdoors but has never been violent towards new people, it just takes him a minute to get all the smells. Speaking of smells, he has been known to get a few kitchen scraps, though he knows not to get too close. His beg was a patient sit or lay on the boundary line. Jake has done fine with other dogs, but may be best as an only pet in the home. Jake is a curious dog, and would do great on a nature walk type scenario. He enjoys a fenced in backyard. Jake would be best suited for a retired family who still enjoy their walks and maybe a few grandkids to play fetch with their in the yard. May need multiple tennis balls.

This distinguished gentleman is Todd! Todd is an approximately 7.5-year old male Treeing Walker Hound mix who weighs around 50 lbs. Todd was adopted at 1-year old and returned to the rescue recently when the family decided they wanted a new puppy and Todd could not “warm” up to the puppy. Todd is searching for a loving forever home that will include him in activities and give him lots of love and attention. He loves to run in the yard, so he needs a securely fenced back yard. Todd has done really well with the other dogs he has met, but prefers those who are laid back and not in his face. Todd can be playful and energetic, but he can also be laid back and loving. A perfect combination! He appears house-trained, will go in a crate (but not a fan), and is good on a leash. He is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped.
