Story
Betty's family could not take of her properly so they reached out to our rescue. She is as sweet as can be and loves to snuggle with humans and kitties. She is fine around other dogs that she meets but gets very jealous with another dog in the home because she wants all of the attention. Story
Hi there! I’m Bandit!I’m an 8-year-old beagle mix with a heart full of love and a nose for treats. I spent most of my life in a home with another dog and three cats, but one day, my person decided they didn’t want us anymore. That was a big change for me—but I’m a resilient guy, and I’m learning that new beginnings can be pretty great. At first, I was a little unsure about my foster home. After all, eight years is a long time to spend in one place. But it didn’t take me long to warm up—especially once I found the couch! Now, I’ve even made friends with the cats here. I’ll cuddle up with them sometimes (especially the kitten who thinks my tail is a toy), and I’m always super gentle and patient with them. One thing you should know about me: I LOVE treats. Like, seriously. If you have a snack, I’ll show you all my best tricks—sit, shake, you name it. I’m very polite and wait my turn, but I won’t let you forget I’m there, ready to perform for my reward! Mealtime is also my favorite part of the day. I happily hop right into my crate when it’s time to eat, no hesitation. I know the routine!I’m crate trained and house trained, and my foster says I’m very trustworthy—no messes, no chewing, just naps and love. Sure, I might let out a little whine now and then if I need to go potty or if I think it’s treat o’clock, but I promise it’s just me trying to communicate.Oh, and did I mention how much I love cuddling? I always find the fluffiest pillow to rest my head on and will gladly snooze next to you for hours. I’m laid-back, affectionate, and looking for a forever home where I can finally settle in, relax, and just be someone’s best buddy. If you’ve got a cozy couch, some tasty snacks, and a lot of love to give—I think we might be meant for each other. My adoption fee of $200 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.
