Story
Saturn is the sweetest boy around! He would thrive best in a home that has a fenced back yard or a porch as he loves to sunbathe when its warm outside or watch the birds. He has been around kids and is very gentle and sweet with them. He has been around cats before and wants to engage / play with them and shows interest in being near them. Saturn is comfortable with moderate exercise. A daily walk and time to sniff around the back yard and would be ideal. He loves to snuggle up close and snooze the rest of the day once he's gotten his energy out. Saturn is house trained, knows how to sit and lay down, knows "place," and walks on a leash relatively well. He loves to go on walks, but sometimes barks when he sees an unexpected dog. Saturn is crate trained and stays in his crate while we are gone. He is neutered and up to date on all shots and is microchipped.

Scout is 7 and loves his humans. He likes to be near his people, but due to a change in circumstances, we are not home enough for him. We adopted him from the Humane Society as a pup. He went through a dog training course. He is healthy and has had regular veterinary care. He needs a few minutes to accept a new person in his home, but takes to people quite well. He also gets along great with other dogs and used to go to doggy day care. He’s a great dog who just likes to be around s people.

Gerald is a gentle, lanky boy who starts out a little timid, but once he knows you’re safe, he becomes your best friend. He was found by his foster family after it looked like he was dumped on their property. After trying to find who he belonged to with no luck, it was apparent someone else’s so called trash, is now a treasure! He will put his head in your hand and look at you with pure adoration. Like he truly is thankful to not be lost anymore. He loves playing with other dogs once he’s comfortable and enjoys relaxing on his bed for little naps throughout the day. He is also great with children and will make sure to follow them everywhere. He’s a big fan of walks and sniffing all the fun scents in the air. Gerald is a soft, loving boy that deserves the very best home.  **This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Please note we are unable to hold dogs for adopters as this ties up valuable foster homes.
