Meet Sophia! 🐾 Sophia came a 70+ hound hoarding case with her puppies. She was underweight and giving all the nutrients she had to her pups. She is the best mama. Sophia is a bit shy upon meeting, but warms up very quickly with food and love! She has been thriving in her foster home while learning to walk on a leash, play with toys, potty habits, and just be a dog! She has no reaction to the many other dogs in the foster’s home and sometimes wants to give the kitties kisses, but mainly ignores them as well. She really just wants to be cuddle up to her person. She is a total velcro dog once she trusts you. She will want to lay next to or behind you whenever possible and loves to give hugs. Despite never being on a leash prior she has been doing great with short walks and really enjoys sniffing around the neighborhood. Sophia just needs someone with a little extra time and patience, but the love she will give you will be more than worth it. All Memos (1)

Story
Lucy loves everyone and thinks everyone loves her. She has never even so much as growled at another animal. Lucy is friendly with people and other pets. She lives with me and another adopted female dog, and an adopted cat. They all love each other and occasionally sleep together. I’ve had Lucy since she was a pup but I will be moving into a new home where there are no animals and none are wanted due to allergies. I am a widowed senior female and want to make sure Lucy finds a loving home. Lucy is well behaved and smart. She Loves long walks, especially if she can be off leash and near a body of water as she likes to swim. But she will settle for a walk in the neighborhood if that’s all she can get. She’s very friendly, healthy and happy.

Roger Needs a New Home ❤️ It breaks our hearts, but we are looking for a loving new home for our 5-year-old Blue Tick Walker mix, Roger. Roger is a sweet, goofy boy who loves his people and enjoys snuggling up after a day of play. He is house trained, crate trained, and knows several basic commands including sit, down, and come. Roger does well with other dogs and children, but he is not good with cats. He absolutely loves being outside and would thrive in a home with a large, securely fenced yard where he can run, play, and show off his famous zoomies! As a Blue Tick Walker mix, Roger has strong instincts and could make a great hunting companion with additional training. He is an active dog who would do best with a family that can give him plenty of exercise, attention, and love. We are committed to finding Roger the right home where he can continue to be the happy, playful dog he is. If you think Roger might be a good fit for your family or would like more info, let us know!
