Story
"Ithaca" likes people, especially men, but is not good with other dogs, cats, or other animals due to strong prey instincts. Her owner passed away and I have been fostering her. Ithaca is unspayed. This dog is rather neurotic. Personally, I do not think she should be bred. She DOES walk on a leash quite well. Only seems semi-house broken, has excitement accidents. Needs training. Again, I would not have this dog near any other animals. She is at her happiest when sitting close and snuggling with a person. she is friendly around older children but would probably push over smaller kids with her enthusiasm. She also guards people from other animals.

Charlie is a wonderful 10m old Australian shepherd/ treeing walker coonhound. He loves to play and is always excited about something. He loves to bark when he is not getting attention. That being said Charlie needs a wonderful home full of love and preferably with a fenced in yard or lots of land to roam around. Most of all Charlie needs someone who can spend time with him and give him just as much as he has to give. I believe he would be a great hunting dog if given that job. Also he gives the best hugs, he will wrap his arms around your neck and lick your face. He will do it to anyone that allows him to.It hurts that I have to surrender such an amazing dog due to my schedule but he deserves the best and unfortunately I am not able to be with him as much as he needs.

My son got this dog with the intention of coon hunting came from a good hunting line Walker/Black and tan coonhound she is purebred He got a job on the road and didn’t have time to train. She may or may not hunt but would make a good pet she is loving and sweet. We have her at our house and since we are elderly we cannot see that she gets the proper exercise and able to run. Just want her to have a chance at a good loving home. We live 60 miles south of Nashville Tennessee
