Introducing Jet! Jet is a 1-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound mix with all the curiosity and enthusiasm you`d expect from a young hound. He loves spending time outdoors, following his nose, and exploring everything around him on walks.Jet is very food motivated, making him eager to learn and a great candidate for continued training. He already knows how to sit politely like a gentleman and enjoys working for treats.He`s a playful, energetic dog who loves to bounce around and have fun. Jet has enjoyed making dog friends during his time with us, and we think he`d do well in a home with another playful canine companion. We`re not sure how he would do with cats. Because of his size and excitement, we think he`d be happiest with older, sturdier children who can keep up with his playful nature.Please fill out an application to meet Jet if you think he would be a good fit for your family!Please note: - Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed. - Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html) - Our shelter has open visiting hours for cats, however pre-approved application are needed prior to an adoption. Appointments may be scheduled with an approved application as well, otherwise we may not be able to accommodate same day adoptions. - Approved applications are required prior to meeting any of our dogs.**Kittens are required to be adopted in pairs, unless there already is a cat in the home. If the cat in the home is 10 years or older, this two-kitten policy will apply

Talulah was brought to the shelter as a stray smelling like a barn and stained yellow. She came in with a pup companion (Elly May) and there`s no sugar coating it, these 2 gals are SKITTISH. We don`t know what she experienced in her former home, but you can see that she WANTS to let her guard down. If you sit patiently, Talulah will sneak up from behind to check you out and accept some pets. If you come right at her, or chase her down, she`s going to run like the wind. In all her time here, she has never growled or nipped or barked in anger.. if she can`t flee, she freezes.Talulah and Elly May have come a long way in socialization, and are looking for the right person to continue to work on teaching them what it`s like to be a carefree happy pup.She keeps to herself, for the most part, but has snuck a sniff of passing pups, and we believe she would do well with a canine sibling to help show her the way. Do you have room in your heart for Talulah? Stop in and meet her today!
