Story
This sweet, fluffy orange and white boy is looking for a calm, loving home. He was adopted from us as a kitten and recently returned through no fault of his own after his owner lost her housing and could not keep him. Understandably, he’s still adjusting to the shelter environment. He is a quiet, shy guy who truly blossoms with gentle affection. Once he trusts you, he loves being petted and will softly bonk your hand to ask for more. He feels safest napping in small, cozy spaces like cubbies, where he can relax and observe the world at his own pace. He would do best in a quiet home without young children, where he can settle in and feel secure. He previously had his teeth removed due to a mouth issue, but this doesn’t slow him down at all—he eats both wet and dry food just fine. With patience, kindness, and a peaceful environment, this gentle boy will make a wonderful, loving companion Please note: Benjamin is shown as a Maine Coon Mix based solely on his appearance. We rarely take in purebred animals, so virtually all of them are a mix of several breeds. Do not make an adoption decision based only on our breed designation, especially if you are concerned about allergies. More information & application [ts=1770192039&src=aap]

Story
Martini is a gorgeous long-haired calico with a soft coat and a gentle soul. She came to us as a devoted mama, rescued from a kill shelter along with her three babies. Shortly after rescue, her kittens needed medical treatment, which meant extra handling and care, an experience that understandably left Martini a bit wary of humans. Because of her past, Martini can be shy at first and takes time to feel safe. She isn’t aggressive or mean, just cautious. With patience, consistency, and a calm environment, she has the potential to slowly build trust and show her sweet side. Martini would do best in a quiet home with someone who understands that love doesn’t always arrive instantly. This brave mama has been through a lot and deserves a chance to finally relax and be cared for herself. If you’re someone with a gentle heart and the patience to let Martini set the pace, she could be a truly rewarding companion. Once you submit an adoption application, a cat care associate will review it and follow up with you as soon as possible. Her adoption fee is $75 and includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, de-worm, flea treatment, and microchip ID. Thank mew!
