New bee alert. We’re still getting a feel for her full personality but some things are already very clear. Angie is SUCH a good cat. She has insanely soft fur, loves laps, and is a full on purr machine. Big fan of toys, biscuits, and playtime. She’s affectionate and also chill. The best combo. She rests well, makes tons of air biscuits, slow blinks like a pro, and genuinely loves people. She can get a little grabby in a playful way and may investigate plants but she’s easily redirected with toys and clearly just being a curious little lady. Overall she’s sweet, social, playful, and loving. The kind of cat who wants to be involved and then curl up and purr about it. This new friend has just arrived! They have come to us either as a transfer from another shelter, being found as a stray, or have been surrendered to us by their owner. When our friends are new to us, we are typically unsure of their full background, litter box habits, comfort with handling, or experience with other pets or children. Our staff will spend some time reviewing any information provided by previous owners and spend some time with our new friend so that we can better update their biography. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Update: This cat loves to be held, never bites, never scratches and is a charm... I fed this cat all spring, summer and fall last year... Then he reappeared on my steps this spring and was meowing in hunger. I have spent over $200.00 in bloodwork and vet visits. I am asking for $100 as proof you will give this awesome, little box trained a great INSIDE home. I am not going to adopt him to be an indoor and outdoor cat. I also need to confirm you have a vet and will care for this very gentle cat; yes, he purrs... I have a few cats and it's unfair that I can't give him individual love that all cats want. I have another set of two from the same liter and will post... But, this beautiful and gentle cat needs a loving home. I rescue all stray cats that come to my door and am a non-profit also. I do not do this for income but because I care. Again, not adopting out for someone to make human indoor and outdoor cat. Please, ask any questions you like ..

This handsome boy is Saul.  He had already been neutered before he came through our doors, but he does not have a microchip. I met Saul in the room he shares with other cats. What a sweet, gentle boy! Saul walked right over to me and brushed along my arm as I sat on the floor. He was thrilled to meet a kind and gentle human friend. Besides being a well-mannered gent, Saul is also one beautiful cat. His fur is a soft buff color with light tabby stripes. Plus, Saul has gorgeous bright green eyes.
