ABOUT SILVERWING!
Meet Silverwing, our beautiful grey girl! This precious lady was brought to HAP as a stray, clearly sick and very afraid. Unbeknownst to us at the time, she was also very pregnant. Our amazing medical staff was able to help her feel better and helped her raise her kittens in the shelter, but the fear and uncertainty remained. What would really help this sweet lady, more than any love we can offer, is a home all her own!
Silverwing is a quiet lady, who mostly keeps to herself. She enjoys watching the other cats play, and will occasionally join them in some fun! When she feels really brave, she'll climb in one of her human's laps and snooze away. Most of the time, though, she's snuggled up in one of her many cat beds. If you're looking for a TV watching buddy or just want to save a kitty from the scary shelter, Silverwing might just be the perfect fit!
*Silverwing gets along well with other cats, and feels the most comfortable with a kitty friend, so she'll need to go to a home with another cat. We don't recommend dogs or children, as she is very nervous around noise.
**If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
