This new friend has just arrived! They have come to us either as a transfer from another shelter, being found as a stray, or have been surrendered to us by their owner. When our friends are new to us, we are typically unsure of their full background, litter box habits, comfort with handling, or experience with other pets or children. Our staff will spend some time reviewing any information provided by previous owners and spend some time with our new friend so that we can better update their biography. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Say hello to Adriana, a lovely black and white lady with a sweet fluffy tail and striking burnt orange eyes. This lady has a gentle demeanor and enjoys a slow approach when it comes to meeting new people. Once she warms up, she loves being told she's pretty while soliciting pets and affection. Adriana enjoys being petted all over, including her belly, and she can be held. She’s intrigued by toys, though she hasn’t picked a favorite yet. Adriana’s calm nature makes her an ideal companion for those who appreciate a quieter, more relaxed feline friend. We think she’d thrive in a peaceful household where she can receive plenty of attention and affection Sociability: With People: Adriana enjoys the company of people and will soak up all the compliments you give her.
